Economy rice stall by day, kway chap stall by night; this stall's claim to fame isn't just that it opens for dinner and supper till the wee hours of morning.
.
Their soy braised pig offals are clean-tasting, with a good variety of cuts, all at affordable prices.
.
The wide flat kway teow / rice noodles is served in a light soy and herb broth, the slippery smooth sheets picking up the salty sweet flavour well.
.
It's easy to pick and choose the sides, with crunchy preserved mustard greens with vegetal sour salty sweet flavour, spongy dried tofu puffs with salty savoury herbal earthy flavour, and bouncy soy braised chicken egg with eggy salty sweet notes.
.
For pig offals, the tender large intestines have salty savoury herbal earthy flavour, the gelatinous braised pig's skin carries fatty salty savoury herbal flavour, and the tender braised pork belly has meaty salty savoury herbal flavour.

If you ask those who stay around Bishan for where to grab supper at night, this place is definitely on the list.

This kway chap stall only open at night until pass midnight. Making it one of the popular dinner and supper place in Bishan.

Also what interesting about this stall is that they sell all the ingredients separately, so you need to choose what part of the meat that you want to get.

To get a mixed of everything would probably cost a lot, with pretty big portion for one person. So it is best to come with group of people if you get everything in one plate.

All the meat parts are braised nicely without any compromise of smell.

Different from your usual Kway Chap Stall, ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ’ ๐Š๐ฐ๐š๐ฒ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ฉ operates solely for late dinner/supper, from 8pm to 3am daily. Visited them on a Friday night for supper and there was a snaking queue forming.

I like how their Kway Chap is similar to Cai Fan (Economic Rice) concept, whereby customers will pick and point the items they desire. Their offerings include ๐˜ฝ๐™ž๐™œ ๐™„๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™š๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™š๐™จ, ๐™Ž๐™ข๐™–๐™ก๐™ก ๐™„๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™š๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™š๐™จ, ๐™‹๐™ค๐™ง๐™  ๐˜ฝ๐™š๐™ก๐™ก๐™ฎ, ๐™๐™ž๐™จ๐™ ๐˜พ๐™–๐™ ๐™š, ๐™‹๐™ž๐™œโ€™๐™จ ๐™๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™ช๐™š, ๐™‹๐™ง๐™š๐™จ๐™š๐™ง๐™ซ๐™š๐™™ ๐™‘๐™š๐™œ๐™š๐™ฉ๐™–๐™—๐™ก๐™š๐™จ, ๐™๐™–๐™ช ๐™†๐™ฌ๐™–, ๐™๐™–๐™ช ๐™‹๐™ค๐™  and ๐™€๐™œ๐™œ. We ordered quite a number of items and our Kway Chap came out to a total of $22! Iโ€™d say their Kway Chap is slightly pricer than most hawker stalls.

The ingredients were fresh and thoroughly cleaned. I like their chilli as itโ€™s sourly good and packs a punch! Pairs super well with the tender braised delights!

Their kway is doused in a very flavorful broth thatโ€™s light on the palate and not too oily. Perfect for a late night supper!

Kway chap from block 284 at Bishan always hits the spot! Each ingredient is super tasty, especially the braised pork belly which is so tender and always melts in your mouth! Perpetually always having a long queue even in the wee hours of the night.

This stall opens really late and is popular among hungry ghosts. But that's about it. I've come here a few times and anyone who tells you it's a top kway chap is lying. Both the kway and the braised foods are average. Lor bak was enjoyable enough, but the tau pok especially was lousy.

Soft silky flat rice sheets. This hearty bowl of herbal goodness warms my heart even late at night. Tucked away in Bishan neighbourhood, this Kway Chap stall uniquely opens from 8pm till wee hours. Their braised tofu is one of the softest and their pork belly is so tenderly-yummy! One of the best Iโ€™ve had, makes every calorie count worth it. Very generous portion served too.

My favourite was pairing the tender braised pig intestines with the sourish chilli sauce. #happybelly #fatdieme #burpple (S$12 for 2 pax)

This is a popular spot if you are craving for some late night kway chap. The ingredients are fresh, and intestines are clean; goes well with the chilli. The kway is nice too.

Personally not a fan of pig ear but my friends thought it was good! The queue was alright at about 8+pm but got longer by 10+pm. Donโ€™t recall the exact price though

So damn goooood and satisfying
Only small downside is that it opens at 8.30pm so more of a supper place than dinner. Definitely get multiple bowls of kway cause one is NOT enough

Two kways, pork belly, tau pok, tau gua and egg for $8.40. Overall a very average tasting bowl, felt like I could get a similar standard at any random food court. The server looked at me in bewilderment when I asked if they had pig trotters which is strange because the best kway chap stalls actually sell that. This place is probably only popular due to its late opening hours and the lack of supper alternatives nearby. Doubt we will be back!

ๅคง่‚ ๅคด, beancurd, eggs, pig skin and 3 bowls of kway cost about $13. The ๅคง่‚ ๅคด is not bad, quite tender. The pig skin was a little chewy though. The kway is soft and thin in texture, complements well with the lightly flavoured soup. The soup is less oily.

This is one of me and my neighbour's go-to place whenever we have sudden midnight hunger pangs. One of us would text to ask if the other is up for kway chap, and naturally, even if we weren't hungry, the reply would always be, "see you in 5 mins". That's how fast we decide, giving ourselves an excuse to go to our favourite supper place! They only begin operations at 8pm, and close when they sell out, or at 4am. This joint really is the bomb to me! The intestines are always cleaned so well that they never have the meaty, smelly organ stench. The kway is so smooth, and the black braising sauce is just delicious. It's so satisfying, light, and best enjoyed after a long night. #hawkerpedia

Looking for some place where they served late night comfort food?? I had been here since I was a kid. Affordable pricing and seriously quality food. Personal favorite is the braised ๅคง่‚ ๅคด (don't know what is its English name). . |

Daily from 2030H to 0400

heard that the stall changed owners and the first telling sign was the rude aunties serving telling off customers for slow orders.
I've heard that the quality has deteriorated but I found it really yummy. the tender pork ain't here anymore, replaced by a braised version. great for this chilly night
