Since you already here, then you shouldn’t left without trying their signature steamed milk pudding. It tastes sweet and tasty. You can go with either hot or cold.

Every tourists coming to Hong Kong should be very familiar with this shop, a well-known Hong Kong cha chang teng that most people would visit at least once.

Thankfully there wasn’t any queue when I came late afternoon on weekday. Managed to find myself a seat immediately.

Since this is my afternoon tea time, so I grabbed their scrambled egg sandwich. Fluffy with crispy texture of the bread. Do note that for them to toast the bread will required additional charge.

My experience at ADC wasn’t the best. I would say this place is overhyped by tourists. It was no doubt that the scrambled eggs were good but.....pricey. Yes I know HK food are pricier but compared to other 茶餐厅 i felt ADC was slightly on the higher side. Aside from the eggs everything else was quite normal for me. Btw does anyone know why do some sets come with tomato but some do not? I won’t recommend this place but highly recommend their neighbour Mak Man Kee for juicy dumplings! ❤️

I preferred the milk tea because it was more fragrant than the lemon tea but both were good, especially on such a hot day!

The egg ham sandwich was pretty good too but I prefer the cheese version. I felt like the ham was a bit salty when combined with the egg and the flavour was a bit overpowering.

The eggs were really fluffy and the melted cheese goes well with the slightly crispy bread too. This place is famous for their bad service so do look at the menu while in the queue then order when you sit down and the staff might like you a bit more 😆

HKD40 | Ordered the All Day Breakfast Set which includes buttered toast with scrambled eggs and milk tea (additional charge). Scrambled eggs were so creamy and fluffy! Definitely worth the hype. Milk tea taste pretty normal, like any other cha chaan teng in Hong Kong.

There wasn’t a queue when I went around evening and I was able to get a seat right away. As opposed to many reviews saying how the staffs were rude, it definitely wasn’t the case for me. In fact, they were pretty friendly - most probably because I was alone.

HKD28 | This. Is. A. Must. Try. There’s always room for dessert!

Milk Pudding was served hot. In every bite, you can taste how smooth and delicious it is. It might look like a normal milk pudding on photos but try again, it’s super good and worth your stomach space!

It’s more eggy than the ones you get from Yeeshun Milk Co but still good nonetheless!

My approach to picking food places to eat in HK was simply to go to the places that got recommended most among friends and all of you on IG who told where to go. And this place appeared many times in your lists.

And I was told, order anything with scrambled eggs. And yes, simple things done so well! I was trying to decipher the secret, thinking if it's possible to recreate this at home. It's definitely milk and butter, but I've no idea what's the proportion and timing etc. I can only enjoy the soft, buttery and milky eggs and hope one day I can make good scrambled eggs at home using Hokkaido milk.

Ps: Heard their cold steamed milk was super good too.. I left without ordering that! :(

Who knew such humble foods would have hundreds of fans from around the world? Most of them willing to queue for hours (us included 😂)

Lines are long but the ambience ans service is quintessentially Hong Kong; terse and brusque. However, the food is amazing. Be sure to get the breakfast set with scrambled eggs. The hot milk pudding is perfect on cold days like today.

For an authentic Hong Kong 🇭🇰 experience, tuck in to this warm bowl of creamy and smooth deliciously sweetened milk whilst waiters bustle around you in a setting likened to a Wong Kar Wai movie scene. A must go for Hong Kong first-timers. 😋😋😋

It is indeed true that the service is subpar and I felt so stressed when I was eating here. But man, the scrambled eggs lived up to its name 😍
Do note that you'll be asked to share the table with strangers if you have less than 4 people in your group, but that's Hong Kong's 茶餐厅 for you! #thiavelogue

I think the scrambled egg toast in Australian Dairy Company is still better. Capital Cafe is still worth going to though.

The scrambled eggs and the steamed milk are a two must have! I have no idea how did they make the scrambled eggs taste so milky and buttery but it's uniquely Hong Kong. I tried a copy cat steamed milk in singapore but it's nowhere comparable to this one. The steamed milk here makes you feel like you just flown to heaven and came back.

The scrambled eggs on its own tasted like it needed more milk, but the combination of the slightly salty eggs with the buttered toast was divine. I liked the smooth egg white steamed milk custard as well but would skip the HK milk tea.

By the way, the milk tea here are so strong it could kill - literally contributed to my involuntary insomnia nights. Respect to the locals here who can order these even at night.

Such a simple dish, and yet the cramped, bustling ambience heightens the dining experience and makes this strangely more enjoyable than it should be.

Read so much about the nasty service that many customers had encountered, so we tried to avoid the peak hours by visiting during dinner time. We didn't get scoldings from the staff for taking photos and not eating fast 😅 The scrambled egg is really ADC's signature dish; moist, fluffy and flavorful. Wished I'd gone back for more. The macaroni was just a very average dish and nothing to rave about.
