Chance upon this hidden gem when walked passed. Service is good. Ramen broth is rich!
my sister didn't like this dish as it just didn't tasted so good (like a bit overcooked for chashu
hmmm idk why i didn't really went down for ramen shop and preferred seaweed ramen soup over different type for ramen soup. hmmm i felt that it really normal but it's a bit bloated if eating finish so it's quite thick soup based tbh.
Ramen soaked in a very rich and yummy tonkotsu broth, topped with chargrilled chasu, diced pork cubes, sweet corn, seaweed, black fungus, bamboo shoot and spring onion, not forgetting the hanjuku egg! Yum!
This was one of their top 3 favourite ramen dish, using 5 ingredients like spring onion, bambo shoots, seaweed, egg and chashu. Of course together with their signature thick and flavourful version of tonkotsu broth, which boiled for almost 10 hours with chicken, pork bone and herbs. $16.90
Pretty good ramen, a longer-than-average menu, and reasonable prices are the pluses if this joint. In addition, you can order your noodles firm (how I like it), ‘original’, or soft. However, it can be inconsistent. Sometimes, the char siew can be too chewy, the broth not piping hot, and worse, they don’t greet you with energetic screamings! Have the baritones left Bari-Uma?

An unassuming, homely Japanese restaurant just off of the sidewalk. I had the ramen with Lunch Set D (add. $3.90), comes with 3 gyozas and a hot tea. The broth was rich and savoury, noodles were thick and cooked till al-dente. The star of the dish was the thick-cut slice of pork, it was melt in the mouth soft with a subtle char-grill around the edges. Definitely, joining the list of my favourite ramen joints.
Unlike the one you had for your asshole spouse. 2010, I wasn't a foodie and 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 ramen because of the atrocity of Ajisen; Bari Uma was one of my first favourite "real" restaurants. The last day of 2019, I am still madly in love with this bowl of 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗶 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗨𝗺𝗮 ($16.90).

The almost bisque-like broth carries a sensual viscosity and creaminess, and explodes in your mouth with an intense umami. The combination of texture and flavour creates an immense comfort, but the broth never gets overwhelming — I practically 𝘪𝘯𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘥 every drop of it.
-
The viscosity of the broth also allows it to cling beautifully onto the noodles, which are always delivered with the perfect bite. Not to mention the perfect ratio of lean meat and melt-in-mouth fat found in their chashu. Maybe these are rose-tinted glasses, but this sentimental romantic remains charmed — and perhaps that's a testament to their consistency.

Every part of the ramen is done expertly (though the egg is sometimes overcooked), but the super umami broth sets it apart from other popular ramen. Thick. Creamy. Rich. No synynoms do justice to the gloriously viscous broth. So addictive, it doesn't get jelak.
However its a decent alternative as thenkutsu broth served in the Ajitama-uma here is hard hitting and super rich.

The noodles are on the slightly thicker side and more chewy which i love while the pork has a decent split of meat and fat. Service staff were a bit awkward even though they had good intentions.

💰: $20
⚖️: Will be back if Im at that side of town but unlikely I'll made a special trip out
Includes lobster corn sausage potato prawn lala muscle and many more! The portion, service and food was fantastic! We had a table of five and every tummy was full and satisfied. A place perfect for gatherings and parties!
Located 1km away from Orchard Mrt, I was ready to judge this ramen shop as not-worth-the-extra-mile. BUT upon stepping into the place, I felt like I was instantly transported back to Japan with the loud and cheery ‘irrashaimase!’ and great service!
Ramen broth was thick and flavourful, the noodles and egg were nicely done. I also love how they gave 3 prices of nori! I felt that the char siu could have more fats though as mine was a little dry. They have a lunch combo where you can add 3 gyoza and a cup of green tea for $3.50.
Overall, definitely worth a try especially if u r in the area.

🔹garlic ramen w ajitama $17.90

rich flavorful soup! everything was good except there was no aircon in the restaurant i was perspiring as a eat. and it’s a open kitchen concept so sometimes when they cook certain dishes it’s kinda chokes you when you breathe. otherwise the food is good!
Super rich and flavourful broth. Probably the most authentic ramen I’ve had in Singapore! $14.90
There is promo now for 2 free toppings if you use jpassport app!
$11.90. Its lighter but still v tasty. Less thick and creamy. The noodles here always have a nice bite. Add the egg for $2.
Delightfully surprised by this bowl of ramen. The broth is thick and full of the pork flavour you would expect from any good ramen shop. This dish has 4 slices of charred chashu and the noodles are cooked to perfection! If you come during lunch, you can add on a cup of green tea and a side dish for a discount with their lunch sets.
😋 yes! Me can finally eat spicy food. Chicken drumlet ramen is yummy and so is their pan fried dumplings. #sgfood #burpple #igsg
