$7.5. Best word to describe this: decadent. Rly tho, i’m so glad we tried this. It literally melts in your mouth, but the base is crunchy and the top layer is powdery 😭 so beautiful. i’m gonna come back for this HAHA.

Loved both cakes. Lemon curd was citrus-y and complemented the sweetness of the meringue. Cake was dense and thick.

I was craving for something lemony and decided on this cake Set from cedele .

No camera tricks but that was how small the cake was . It was also dry and the cream cheese was stiff - didn’t taste fresh at all .

At 10.50 , this was really not value for money at all .

Prices at Cedele seem to be increasing and quality and quantity decreasing .

Is this inevitable for all food Brand names ? Blame it on the rising rents I Guess .

Warm bowl I guess it meant that the ingredients were cooked but still cold when served. Apart from the romaine lettuce as base that was of course not cooked, my moroccan chicken fillet, grilled pumpkin, grilled sweet potato, grilled eggplant & even sous vide egg were cold. Not a fantastic salad bowl and definitely no more second time for me 🤨

With outlets conveniently located in shopping malls, getting a great cake is a no-brainer with Cedele. Get the excellent Carrot Walnut Cake ($7 per slice, $53 for 8") with thick and creamy cream cheese frosting, or try unique creations like the Sesame Tahini Cake ($7, $52 for 8"). The delectable Chocolate Matcha Cake ($7, $63 for 8") with rich chocolate truffle and green tea cream is a winner in our books. Pair all cakes with tea and you're sorted!

For a brand with so many outlets, Cedele does some eye-raisingly good quality and scrumptious bakes and cakes. Coincidentally enough, I seem to have been indulging in a few of them over the last week and thought it’s a good time to share what I’ve enjoyed.
Besides the well-balanced Matcha Chocolate Cake my friend Gabriel chose for a birthday cake to culminate his recent celebration dinner, my parents and I shared three items when we popped into the expanded Cedele outlet at Raffles City for tea break. One was my beloved thickly-frosted Carrot Cake of theirs, cut tall and small; the others were baked bars of an Apricot Pistachio and a Pear Frangipane. As far as my parents and I were concerned, they were all faultlessly executed with the respective lovely fragrance and the right texture. Sweetness level was well controlled across the board, something I really appreciated personally.
