Kimchi soup is my type, sour and spicy one! Unfortunately the veg is not refillable. Each BBQ meat comes with one plate of lettuce only. Rabokki sauce is delicious, dipping with the bbq meat and wrap it with lettuce.

Stir-frying marinated chicken in a gochujang sauce, mixed with sliced cabbage and sweet potato.

Originally I ordered chicken katsu gimbap (RM11) but somehow the kitchen has made normal gimbap (RM10) for me. When I was shooting this photo I wonder where is the chicken katsu, then only realised they have served me the wrong dish. I asked the waiter if they made a mistake on my gimbap they told me what they served is what I ordered, their service is pretty bad because they dont understand their menu well. I need to ask them to check with the kitchen if they are serving me the correct dish. Anyway, the taste of the gimbap is very average, a little too oily due to the generous sesame oil that brushed on the roll. I may not be coming back to this restaurant unless they improved their services and food quality.

The variety of ban chan in Da Sa Rang is insane! From fresh kimchi, candied sweet potato, spinach, to mini pancakes, apple salad and more. Everything is very delicious I would say, and my favourite ban chan from there must be the fermented rolled kimchi. I love the slightly sour taste caused by the fermentation, very addictive! Try adding some of the kimchi on top of your BBQ meat and veggie wrap, you will be blessed with kimchi god!

Da Sa Rang is my family go-to Korean restaurant, the variety of ban chan (side dishes) they served always win my heart. I especially love their fermented kimchi, the taste brought me back to times when I was in Korea. Price is consider reasonable for the quality and quantity of food, we always order their set meal 'BB4' (RM109) which included 2 BBQ meat (spicy chicken and soy sauce pork), dolsot bibimbap and a kimchi jjigae, add on a plate of tteokbokki or another bibimbap (RM25) is more than enough to feed 5 of us. Another good point of this restaurant is they help you to grill the meat at a seperate table, so the smoke wont make you smell like BBQ for the rest of your day. But if you want to enjoy the grilling experience, you can also request to grill straight on your table.

This refreshing dessert is a perfect way to cool you down on a hot day. Snowflake-like shaved ice topped with a very generous amount of mangoes (there are even more hidden under!) & a scoop of mango ice cream. You'll be a mango maniac after having this bingsoo 🤣

Always loved Korean restaurants (not the chains) because of how authentic they feel. The owners themselves oversee operations and it almost feels like you're dining in Korea. That's how it is in Twins.

The shop is extremely done down, with rickety chairs and flimsy metal tables. Focus on the food and the friendly service. Specialising in dakgalbi (stir-fried chicken), they also offer the option to mix things up. The DakGyeopSal features chicken meat with pork belly for just an additional RM2. The promotion running now gets you a free ramyun add-on if you order three portions (do it).

Cooked to smoke and sizzle at the table, the delicious mishmash of meat, rice cakes, vegetables, ramyun and a flurry of spicy, savoury gochujang sauce makes a mean dinner. And if it isn't perfect enough, enjoy your meat wrapped in the side of fresh lettuce with garlic, kimchi and a dollop of sauce.

Milk based ice, frozen berries, almonds flakes, watermelon and green tea ice cream in a beautiful crystal shell. According to the owner, the inspiration of the crystal bingsu came to him one night when he couldn’t stand the heat. The ice shell is frozen for 18 hours and was capable to keep the bingsu frozen for quite a while. So take all the pictures you want without the fear of it melting.

Hailing from Busan in Korea, Outdark's first flagship here is housed in a conspicuous two-storey corner lot in SS15. Dimly lit and sporting a modern wood-and-steel setting, this bustling spot with seats aplenty is made for gatherings. The queues are for their Originate Chicken (from RM39, good for two), tender, boneless fried chicken tossed in a basket with criss-cut fries and French fries. If you like chicken nuggets, this is like hitting the jackpot with a supersized, real-meat version. Order it in the crispy Original or glazed in the sweet-sticky Honey Garlic sauce — side sauces are supplied for an extra flavour boost. For a more holistic experience, share the Outdark Platter (RM88) between two to three. The set comes with fried chicken, seafood pancake, japchae (glass noodle salad), grilled rice cake, kimchi as well as DIY rice balls to keep you busy between bites. On the more exotic end, there is also a dish of Stir-Fried Chicken Feet (RM38) served on a half-and-half bed of seaweed rice and gooey cheese.
Avg price per person: RM40
