Since August 2004, this street side fast casual 24-hour eatery has been a go-to in town, from when I used to work nearby.
.
Their rendition is among the more asthetically pleasing, thanks to the perfectly fried chicken egg shaped by a round mould, with eggy sweet savoury flavour.
.
The dish itself is delicious, the soft chewy yellow noodles, crisp bean sprouts, wispy chicken egg, and tender beef slices, all in a vibrant orange hue, with bold smoky grainy eggy vegetal sweet savoury salty meaty spice flavour.
.
Bits of chili give it a good fiery kick.

($4.90) I felt that their lor mee was not that thick texture and strong flavour that I didn't get from non-vegetarian stall. I felt that it's quite comfort meal for lunch time tbh. But then it pretty sold out for the day itself after I order like half hour later.
($1.30) I didn't pair it with sweet and sour chili for garnish hence it taste slightly plain. But then they use vegetable substitute for meat filling.
($7.50) consisted of choosing between fried chicken or curry chicken and come with a bowl of curry gravy. Its not that bad as I seldom come for lunch time. I preferred fried chicken over curry chicken. Fried chicken was slightly dry aftertaste but the curry gravy was not that spicy as I thought.
- βChicken cutletβ had a texture thatβs more doughy soft than meaty without being too chewy or mushy, a gripe that I usually face with mock meats.
- Breaded coating was crispy and not oily at all which I enjoyed!
- Mock goose bits that resembled pork lard were super crunchy.
- Mee pok tossed in chilli and ketchup, though a bit watery, was smooth with a tinge of sweetness, would prefer it springier and al dente.
($7.80) I tried their ban mian (soup version) at kovan outlet previously. But I didn't tried you mian b4 so I order something different from usual one. So they give a lot of ingredients such as spinach lol. But the soup broth was slightly a bit salty and also the noodle texture was dent and soft.
Plain + Egg Prata ($2.20)
I felt that their prata is not that bad tbh as it's quite got some crispy on the surface but it's a bit slightly dry :")

Pretty decent ban mian that could be your next supper spot! Good spicy kick, but texture of this ban Mian was nothing mind blowing. Definitely couldβve had more ingredients like shallots with the noodles. And the most disappointing was the pork cutlet which was not freshly fried.

A good spot for supper in town as they open everyday from 9am until 5am. So you could find lots of young people getting their late meal here at night.
The pan mee has a mixed with minced pork, ikan billis, fried shallots, garlic, a runny egg, as well as the signature chili.
However, I find the garlic was hard to bite and it often sticking to my teeth. The taste itself seems not too strong for me as everything are mixed together, even with the chili.
Taking the escalator up to level 3 and you will find this vegetarian shop.
They are popular for their meatless local cuisine like mee rebus, wanton mee and laksa. I gotten this because I need rice for the day.
The vegan chicken cutlet was tender inside and crispy from the outside. Paired with vegetables and soup.
Yet another one of those places that I was eagerly waiting to make a return to ever since work-from-home has been implemented β decided to head down to Bodhi Deli on one of those days where a trip to office is needed so I could get myself this Chicken Cutlet Noodle that I was looking forward to having for quite some time.
Being a vegetarian establishment, the Chicken Cutlet Noodle looks almost like how a standard chicken cutlet noodle from any other meat serving establishment would β the mock chicken cutlet is almost akin to the real deal; golden brown fried crispy panko-crumbed batter with βmeatβ that is tightly packed and layered as though there are fibres just like chicken, while the noodles here comes with only the single choice of Mee Pok. The Mee Pok comes tossed in lightly savoury yet spicy sauce that is comparable in flavour to that of hawker stalls serving Bak Chor Mee, and even come with crispy crumbs over the top that replicates that of crispy pork lard β simply divine. Just like some stalls that serves wanton noodles, the plate of noodles also comes with stalks of Bok Choy on the side; theirs being immensely fresh and crunchy. All in all, a really stellar plate of vegetarian noodles that even a meat lover like me would crave for from time to time.
Pretty glad to see how far Bodhi Deli has come along; originally just a kiosk stall with seatings scattered across the aisles within the shopping centre for dine-in, they have since also expanded to include a dine-in area in a unit behind. Still, the stall is still a popular dining choice, with the dine-in area being usually full, and staff assisting to allocate seats for diners who have yet to find their seat before making their order β pretty much a testament to the quality of food served here. Also managed to try their vegetarian Dumplings during this visit, which was almost akin to having the real deal with meat and is something I will order to share around the next time I am here. Needless to say, I will be craving for this till the next time β¦
