This is a new addition to Sprouts Food Place. Nice noodle dishes

I’m back to continue my tasting of places that has been featured on Michelin Guide’s Bib Gourmand, and this time to this stall at Adam Road Food Centre.

I ordered the small portion in order not to get too full for the night, which comes with one piece of pork rib and slices of prawn with veggie.

The dry version will separate the soup on one side bowl, I would say the taste is robust, but the sliced prawn wasn’t too justify to really enjoy it.

They have been sliced very thin that I hardly feel like I’m eating a prawn here. Which is a bit disappointed for me. The pork rib thankfully is tender enough.

Hot & sweaty. That’s how I feel the entire day. 🥵

Got a much-needed respite from this old school hawker stall — A mountain of finely shaved ice, drizzled with sweet gula melaka and rose syrup and an endless swirls of evaporated milk for a creamy taste. 😋

Many people would now know about Bahrakath Mutton Soup because of their feature on Michelin Guide with Bib Gourmand award.

Sadly this place doesn’t offer the mixed version, so you can only order specific type of meat to go with the soup.

I went for the mutton meat, which comes with few pieces for the small portion. Pair the soup with a plate of bread.

The soup is flavourful but not rich as I’m expecting.

The draw of this nasi lemak has got to be the rice! It’s very fragrant and flavourful with the coconut and pandan aroma infused. The chicken is not as juicy as I like, but I like the flavour of the crunchy skin / batter. The meat is not too dry so it’s still ok. Otah was very soft and p legit, a little like those you get in a peranakan restaurant. It’s not the fishcake type. Was sad that the begedil wasn’t crisp. It tasted quite meh. Chilli not super spicy, was on the sweeter side.

Egg was freshly fried so it was still piping hot, yolks were pretty cooked as expected. Ikan bilis and peanuts were crunchy!

It’s not bad, I liked it! If only their chicken was juicier.

A famous nasi lemak stall in Adam Road food center est.since 1998. The stall is 1 in top 100 most nominated hawker of SG mint gift your favourite hawker a coin initiative. Enough accolade, let's dive into their nasi lemak. 😉 i just love the fact that they are generous with chilli, the anchovies are crispy and the coconut rice is just on point. The highlight of this set is a plump and smooth otah. The stall owner is very friendly and suggest me going to royal flush set instead. However, I skip chicken strips and opt for this set instead. 🤩

Another new entrance to Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand for this year. There’s already a queue when I came early morning on weekend, which would get even longer as the sun rise up.

One of the highlights would be their mee soto that is so strong with the broth, and it could get spicy and addictive with the taste.

Comes with sliced chicken pieces and yellow noodles. I recommend to add on a piece of potato cutlet to complete your meal.

Repeated visit for their BBQ dishes. Would usually order their leather jacket grilled fish and their stir fry Kai Lan.

Love that dried shrimps are added in the stir fry Kai Lan elevating that umami-ness.

Ordered their sambal sotong - excellent doneness; sotong not overly cooked, nice bite to it.

Love their chinchalok which compliments the sambal seafood.

Actually my first time to this hawker centre and was so impressed by the halal fare!

We tried the Ayam Penyet ($7) from Adam Chicken Rice and first of all, the portion is huge! Digging your spoon into the chicken thigh triggers a satisfying crunch from the crispy skin and reveals juicy and flavourful meat within. The rice is flavoured with chicken stock and was fluffy! If you like your food spicy, their chili definitely has the punch. A dish I have no complaints about!

Another dish we ordered was Soup Kambing ($8) from Bahrakath Mutton Soup King, and it was so impressive that I couldn't take a good picture before it was gone😂 The soup itself was such a thick broth and had a wonderful herbal flavour. Mutton meat within were very tender too. Love this so much!

We also ordered satay on the side as well from Zaiton Satay ($0.80 each) and although they were slightly tough, the meats were so flavourful and addictive. Definitely a great addition to the mains.

Actually prefer the nasi lemak here over the 2 other well known stalls :)
