One Fattened Calf delivers a truly satisfying burger experience for those seeking quality and flavor in every bite. Their burgers are crafted with premium grass-fed beef and served on freshly baked toasted potato buns, ensuring a solid foundation for each creation.
The OFC Butterburger was the standout for me. If you’re a fan of buttery flavors, this burger is an indulgence you won’t want to miss. The 150g beef patty was perfectly juicy, complemented by the richness of the grass-fed butter. The charred onions, raw onions, and house-made pickles added layers of texture and tang, balancing the butter’s decadence.
The OFC Cheeseburger was equally impressive, featuring the same premium patty with the addition of melted cheddar cheese. The OFC special sauce elevated the burger with its unique tangy and savory notes, tying all the ingredients together beautifully.
The sides were just as enjoyable. The truffle fries were crispy, well-seasoned, and carried a delightful truffle aroma that wasn’t overpowering. The cheese fries, on the other hand, were a gooey, cheesy delight that felt like the ultimate comfort food.
The OFC BUTTERBURGER ($19.90 - combo) is a cheeseburger with its cheese replaced with two thick slabs of cold salty butter, which turned out soooo good. The combo comes with a refreshingly sour GOLDEN LIME SLUSHIE and fries which I changed to CHEESE FRIES (+$2.50). Good but wayyyyy too salty.
You are, the only exception, you are, the only exception.
For breaking the no eating in car rule. There will be serious regrets if you do not consume these triple friend fries on the spot. It should probably be a crime. Hands down.. the best IMO there is. Ok, something happened to their truffle oil recently and its a little off compared to before, but they are still 💯 (ok minus 5 for fairness)
Their burgers are also 🔥. For the same hefty price as 5 guys (how do they even justify themselves ?!?!?), I'd take this any day.
truffle fries were v nice and fragrant but portion v small :( lime slushie was good!
vv juicy and tasty burgers but also vv oily so can get slightly messy. they have a burger w a slab of butter in it as one of their specialties but i didn’t think the butter added much to the burger so i prefer their normal burgers
Been a long time that this has been sitting on my wishlist, but I finally went down to one-north to try this highly-raved burger joint and boy, was I impressed.
First thing's first, this shop is SMALL with seats for only 25pax or so, so make sure to come down early before the dinner crowd comes in. We came at about 6.25pm and there were still empty tables, but by 7pm there was a long queue out the entrance.
Next up, the burgers. We had the Cheeseburger ($15) and Goldburger ($18) with a Combo ($4.90) to share. Beef patty was thick and so so juicy, but the crisp char at the edges sealed the deal. Delicious, tender, and succulent, it couldn't get any better than this. Completing the whole package were the soft, pillowy, potato buns as well as the crisp pickles and charred onions. Definitely one of the best burgers in SG, hands down.
The Goldburger came with an additional layer of pulled beef brisket which added another dimension of smokey sweetness to the burger. Love at first bite! Really recommend adding on the combo because the refreshing lime slushie was the perfect drink to wash down the richness and heaviness. The thick fries were also served hot and crisp, what more could you ask for?
Overall, highly recommend dropping by, with the burgers being well-worth the travel and the price. But do note they don't accept credit card payment!
Best cheese burger I ate this year! The bun was so aoft (they use potato buns) and the slight charring of the beef patty give a different texture to the juicy patty as you chew. The melted cheese was so savoury and creamy it accentuated the flavour of the patty. The caramelised onions were so sweet and the regular fries look like hand cut and fried to perfection.
For all burger lovers, this is the place to go for cheese burgers. Wonder how their other burgers taste like….
I’ll be back.

The beef bacon was pretty good, it's slightly crispy and quite meaty
The patties were nicely firm and despite the small size, had enough bite(partly from small bits of gristle which I appreciate)
It's a little bit heavy, and there's a lot of sauces, but it's less than you would expect from something with absolutely no veggies, esp if you let the oil drain
Overall pretty decent
Unique on their menu & only available at dine-in is OFC's Butterburger.
What you get is 2 cold thick slabs of butter sandwich between their homemade potato buns, their perfectly crisp beef patties & with the usuals of onions & pickles.
You might think that it sounds really heavy & probably a little too indulgent but when you take that first bite, the butter melts away into the soft fluffy buns & surprisingly finishes really clean. You'd barely notice that the butter was there in the first place.
It's no wonder that this is something to try when my friend brought me to visit. It is indeed a head turner.
If you're looking for a dope cheeseburger, look no further than One Fattened Calf (OFC). Located in a small store at Galaxis building at One-North. Their simple menu of 5 burgers makes it easy for you to decide which to have.
The best seller on the menu is this buddy right here - fluffy potato buns that holds together perfectly seared with charred edges beef patties, cheddar cheese, onions, pickles & their special sauce. Although simple, it packs a whole punch with that great patty that gives you that crunch with every bite thanks to those charred bits.
The pickles, onions & cheese helps to create a few flavour layers & add on another texture to the burger.
Top up your meal at $4.90 for fries & their slushie (which you'd defo need to help cut through that burger) & you're good to get into a food coma.
When I went to Timbre+, Burgs caught my eye for its long queues and visually appealing burgers. Turns out that the store collected orders in batches, resulting in a long queuing time for customers.
Upon trying the Double pulled beef burger ($9.90), I was impressed by the tenderness of the burger, but felt that the ketchup sauce was far too rich. This result in the end result where the burger tasted far too sweet for a meat dish.
A side note i had was that I bit into a bone midway through the burger, furthering my negativity bias towards this review.
Carbs wise, the fries were thick and crispy while the bun was soft and fluffy, with the logo of the brand toasted on the surface. Nothing special of note.
