@mikawasg offers a wide variety of authentic & mouth-watering Japanese sashimi, sushi, ramen, yakitori that has served the customers in the East well! Now they are also in Bukit Timah, just a short walk from Beauty World MRT Station.🎉

Here’s what we tasted that night…🤤
👉Buta Bara - SGS2.90
boneless pork belly w onion
👉Hiyashi Soba w Truffle Shoyu - SGD15.30
👉Yaki Somen Whiskey - SGD10.90
👉Sliced Iberico Pork w Truffle Sauce - SGD15.30
👉Pitan Tofu - SGD7.60
👉Gyutan - SGD7.60
🇺🇸 ox tongue
👉Asahi Super Dry (Pint) - SGD9.90

Long story short, they didn’t disappoint at all, in terms of taste and quantity. I’d recommend getting at least one of their Okinawa Soba mains (Hiyashi Soba w Truffle Shoyu), whereby the noodles are freshly air-flown from 🇯🇵. The Yaki Somen Whisky was a slurpalicious treat and packed with flavour. Of course, you’ve to indulge in their yummy Japanese yakitori too and order some beer or sake for the complete experience!😊

@mikawasg yakitori bar is most likely the only izakaya along Siglap 🇯🇵 they need no promo or advertising as they have their own neighborhood regulars in fact it’s get crowded! they have a homely ambience with an extensive affordable menu of signature authentic #kushiyaki skewers ✨ Yaki/grilled onigiri ($3.90) is always a must-get for me at yakitori places - I love the charred crispy exterior and soft mushy inside❤️paired with plum sauce!💕got their Tamago bacon ($4) and shiitake bacon maki with cheese ($2.90) which is the bomb - cheese egg bacon is just best combi😍💣 the Yaki tofu miso ($2) tastes more soy than your usual fried tofu with a intense miso sauce to balance it out✨ overrall, it’s definitely a worth all the regulars’ support🥰

Around 55$ for this meal but
Taste pretty good

good on paper, but delivery was lacking abit. Umami was there, but the lard wasnt top grade and so it wasnt crispy and there's a slight bitter taste. It tingles despite me asking for less spicy, so the real deal is probably gonna be saliva inducing. Prawns were big and meaty, if slightly mushy. Also the whole dish was slightly dry, luckily there's iced water provided tho

well.. you know.. your everyday place? That's what Iza at Siglap is like to me. This Tamagoyaki with Otah is definitely my favourite bite!
The second pic shows off some veggies and chicken off cuts, liver and gizzard, that are really yummy too! Prices are reasonable as well. Check it out!

This is a lot spicier than it looks, but so tasty. 2 very large prawns top a tangle of spaghetti thoroughly mixed through with umami-rich hae bee hiam and crunchy lardons. It’ll tingle your taste buds for sure.

Neighbourhood izakaya joint Iza puts their own local twist to many of the items on the menu, including their popular Otah Tamago which can be seen on many a table in the restaurant. Plush square parcels of egg ensconce soft squares of meaty, homemade otah with just a hint of mild spiciness, the perfect snack to go along with a frosty mug of beer or highball.
