Mango Bingsu is a refreshing treat that perfectly complements Singaporeโ€™s humid weather. The dessert is beautifully presented with generous chunks of fresh, golden mango sitting atop a mountain of ultra-fine shaved ice soaked in milk.

The bingsu itself is light, smooth, and milky, offering a creamy taste without the heaviness of whipped cream. The natural sweetness of the ripe mango cubes pairs excellently with the milk-infused ice, creating a balanced flavor profile thatโ€™s not overly sweet. The subtle crunch from almond slivers sprinkled on top adds a pleasant texture to each bite.

While itโ€™s on the pricier side, the portion is substantial, making it perfect for sharing with friends or enjoying solo if youโ€™re feeling indulgent. For mango lovers and fans of bingsu, this dessert is a tropical escape in a bowl!

(Large - $8.50) I felt that their green tea latte taste so weird like strong vegetal tbh. I don't think that I will patronised them for latte series :")

Enjoyed this exact order at Suntec branch better somehow.

- Croffle had a super crunchy crisp exterior with a chewy middle, topped with cinnamon sugar giving warm undertones that complemented the gelato ๐Ÿจ

Smoked Cognac ($5.80) & Crunchy Genmaicha ($4.20)

I think I left it out for this food reviews :") But I did eat dessert twice on that day ah but then it's quite not worth for calories on first place for dessert in my opinion. So I did expected that their alcoholic ice cream up to the standard as their best selling flavour is mostly like alcoholic series from kahlua cheesecake, crunchy coffee whisky and smoked cognac. I did choose smoked cognac as dark chocolate always be my favourite but then they mixed with ST-REMY VSOP brandy. Crunchy Genmaicha was non-alcoholic flavour so I just preferred non-strong flavour tbh to complement. But I felt that nutty taste was too much over genmaicha (tea flavour) was slightly bland.

TLDR: Positive vibes and cosy cafe.

Initially we were hesitant reading one of the last review, but we just had to try for ourselves.

Our experience at Overscoop has been nothing but serendipity. We were hunting around for some sweet snacks in town and saw there was a 1for1 waffle promotion.

Staff was friendly and patient whilst we pick the ice cream. Though there was some initial confusion due to two ongoing promotions, it was resolved quickly.

Quite a wide selection of ice cream, but stuck with one trusty vanilla scoop with standard & pandan waffles. Order came less than 10 minutes, kinda surprises as it was a busy weekend.

Taste wise - Crispy yet airy, all the must haves of waffles. Not too sweet is the bonus! Large portion as can be seen from the photo, with promo for students & seniors. Free mini scoop, a very nice gesture.

Suggest for boss to consider adding some small savory bites (chicken bites, fries etc) to the menu. Also worthwhile to think how to encourage diners to clear their tables.

Special thanks for catering to the hot drink, you got yourself a new fan. Cheers!

Went to redeem 1 for 1 waffle. A particular female staff was quite unfriendly since the beginning when we ordered. We also redeemed 1 for 1 aรงai through EZ-Link app. When I showed the screen of the redeemed page, she tried to click the close button on my phone a few times but somehow it didnโ€™t manage to close. She then proceeded to ask a somewhat insulting question: โ€œIs this a picture?โ€ I was so furious that I placed my phone down and pressed the button in front of her to show that it is not a picture. To make it worse, order of our waffles did not arrive after waiting for 15 to 20min and we asked to refund instead.

Overscoop has opened a new outlet in Orchard Central! Nestled on the 2nd floor, this beautifully decorated cafe comes with spacious tables and comfortable seating to chill and catch up with friends. Though theyโ€™re mostly know for their ice cream and waffles, they also offer acai bowls and salad bowls ๐Ÿฆ

We tried their Mochi Waffle ($8) with Cookies & Cream ($5) ice cream, plus their Teriyaki Overbowl ($12.80). The mochi waffles were really exceptional, the centre of the waffle contained a really stretchy and gooey white mochi while the rest of the waffle was crispy. The textural contrasts were just A+ and I really liked how their mochi waffle contained actual mochi and wasnโ€™t just made with glutinous rice flour. Cookies & Cream ice cream was really nice too! It was creamy with generous bits of chewy crushed cookies. Suuuper good.

We werenโ€™t that impressed with the Teriyaki Overbowl unfortunately, the portions were very small in relation to the price and it wasnโ€™t very filling. I did enjoy how healthy it was, both in taste and in ingredients, but it wasnโ€™t nearly hearty enough to justify its steep price.

Would definitely return for their waffles and ice cream, I think thatโ€™s what theyโ€™re known for too so its better to stick to that.

You will not get sick of their specially curated range of gelato flavours on rotation! ๐Ÿ’ฏ Simply mesmerised by the cute baby scoop atop the usual scoop! ๐Ÿ˜ I got their classic Mint Chocolate Chip ๐Ÿ’š which was really refreshing! For my overscoop, I got the tangy Raspberry & Passionfruit boasting of fruity flavours. ๐Ÿ’—
.
I like how their waffles are crisp on the exterior! I went for their waffle with single scoop ($12), with the Brown Sugar Mochi Waffle (+$1) stealing my heart! ๐ŸคŽ
