Satisfying thick sandwich with crab cake, cheddar, onions, tomatoes, sriracha tartare and a side of fries which I had upgraded to truffle fries. The crab cake is flavourful with a good texture. This was probably one of the better crab cakes I ever had 》$20 + $2 Parmesan Truffle Fries

It's so sad to see them go 🥺 I'm already missing my weekend brunch at Riders Cafe. The homemade rösti & breakfast sausage is served with poached eggs, bacon, hollandaise and parmesan. The crispy fried potato shreds are well-seasoned and pairs well with their homemade juicy sausage 》$19

Avocado, Feta, Tomatoes, Poached Eggs, Sesame Seeds,
Crushed Hazelnuts, Rustic Toast

Quite an enjoyable avo toast! Generous servings of avo that wasn’t salty, the feta, tomatoes, sesame seeds and hazelnuts added additional flavour and texture. Toast was good, crunchy but not too dry.

Poached Eggs, Bacon, Hollandaise, Parmesan

Eggs were poached well, was runny and hollandaise was tasty. Sausage and bacon were salty as expected. Unfortunately the rosti fell short, was looking for a soft fluffy one with a crisp exterior, but this one lacked that softness and plushness of a potato, tasted a bit too raw for our liking. A pity!

2 Eggs Your Way, Bacon, Breakfast Banger, Mushrooms, Tomato, Baby Spinach, Beans & Rustic Bread

Pretty decent, each component was done properly - we particularly enjoyed the rustic bread and juicy earthy mushrooms! Overeasy eggs had a runny yolk within, was cooked nicely. Nothing outstanding but still satisfied.

Avocado, Gouda, King Mushroom, Fried Egg, Miso Tahini, Tomatoes, Brioche. Combi of ingredients was nice, particularly enjoyed the miso tahini which bought an interesting and tasty element to this vegan sandwich. My only gripe would be the bread which was a bit lacklustre. I liked the skinny fries served, wasn’t salty and each piece that I had was crisp!

Tho a bit salty, I liked this a lot! Think it’s got to do with the combi of mushroom, eggs, brown butter, and garlic crumbs - had a very delish, earthy flavour. The pasta was also done properly, had a bite to it but not too hard. There’s spinach for some greens as well! Wouldn’t have ordered this initially but I’m glad we did, tho it’s a little pricey given the portion.

Tofu Scramble, Kale, Mushrooms, Grains, Avocado, Nuts, Seeds. Ingredients were fresh and lightly seasoned, was tasty! Avo was nicely ripened, tofu scramble was soft and felt like scrambled eggs, oyster mushrooms were joosy and delish. Portion looked small but was more substantial than expected! Would order again, was yummy~

The brioche was p thick and fluffy and soft, not super buttery but good with the caramelised bananas + coconut caramel. Wasn’t a big fan of the salted caramel ice cream with almonds, tasted slightlyyy doughy but thankfully wasn’t sickeningly sweet. There were pecans in there too! Overall liked the dish, good for sharing if not it might be a tad sweet - we shared amongst 4!

A must-try for seafood and asian food lovers. This dish was not for me at all - largely due to the heavy laksa-ish/ lemongrass/coconut flavours in the mussels. I prefer my mussels to be served in white wine or creamy broth. My husband loved his dish very much tho! Dish is served alongside 2 lightly toasted sourdough, which were crisp on the side and soft within. Love the sourdough here!

My forever favourite from Rider’s! First recommended by then-boyfriend and now husband, there certainly is some degree of bias towards Rider’s burg. But hey, putting on an objective lens, it’s a decently priced burger (not too overly priced!), with juicy, succulent patty in just the right thickness. I love how fluffy the buns are too. I requested for the caramelised onions and thousand island to be served on the side. Otherwise, the standard burg comes with these condiments assembled within the burg. It’s served alongside a massive portion of fries as pictured!

This is a chocoholic’s dream come true. Beneath the velvety blanket of thiccc fudge is a huge slice of moist, dense chocolate cake. I like how there wasn’t an overdose of cocoa/ dark chocolate. Looking at the dark mess, I was slightly concerned about the possible bitter after notes with each bite. Happy to share that there wasn’t any hint of dark chocolate! Hooray! My husband found it a lil’ too too much

Even though there is no air-conditioning at Riders Cafe, but the delicious food and pleasant atmosphere makes it a joy to come to for a leisurely breakfast, lunch or dinner.

A little al fresco joint overlooking the Saddle Club's lush greenery and (literal) horseplay, only with the occasional smell of manure if you sit at the balcony. Fluffy toast and caramelised burnt banana served warm, topped with a sinful salted caramel & walnut ice cream to boot. Good stuff.

𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐬 (V; $15) - Tender vegan kebabs served with homemade sauce. Enjoyed the flavourful and sticky peanut-lemongrass-kaffir mix but would have appreciated slightly more spice and smokiness to the kebabs.

Didn’t expect to like this but it was a surprising one! Especially liked the desiccated coconut texture of the cake, put together with a scoop of coconut ice cream and a drizzle of gula melaka. Thought the cake would be too dense, but it was actually more on the fluffier side while holding in the richness.

This was the main I enjoyed most out of the three we had. Iberico Duroc pork that was sous-vide then grilled, paired with a mustard and citrus sauce. Sides were pumpkin puree and charred cauliflower. This cut of pork is more fatty, but the appetising sauce balanced it out. The juiciness was well locked in and meat had a good bite.

Riders has monthly specials and one of them for April is this pan-seared European seabass with roasted potatoes and long beans. The seabass sits on a zesty butter-based sauce made with lots of citrusy elements like pineapples and oranges, that nicely helped to bring up the acidity. The fish was decently tender, just found the dish a touch bit oilier.

Quite a homely rendition of Chicken Parmigiana with a side of mashed potato. It’s topped with ham and a generous blanket of parmesan and mozzarella on tomato sauce. Personally found the sauce a touch too sweet for my liking and chicken could be more tender. It was a very filling portion!

Riders’ Summer Eton Mass is a fun twist done to the traditional English dessert and so aptly named. Light whipped coconut cream, topped with tangy passion fruit curd, a variety of summer fruits and their homemade meringue which gave an added crisp texture to the whole dessert.
