Organic red and brown rice, falafel of the day, red pepper, grilled pumpkin, Japanese cucumber, tofu, plum sesame sauce
Ahh I love toss and turn! Itβs one of the better salad options around my area - I prefer it over the salad fork, poke theory, and other less well-known brands. The falafel was sooo good? Crunchy, well-spiced and flavourful ππΌ The tofu was p fresh, grilled pumpkin was sweet, cucumber and red pepper was refreshing and crunchy. Plum sesame sauce was tasty too! My momβs mushrooms were juicy and earthy, was rly yummy. Portion is good too.
The best seller, this hand-rolled little pies are made with buttery melt-in-your-mouth pastry and filled with lightly sweetened pineapple jam π

The conditions under which I would buy this
$8 chocolate mousse cake:
Condition 1: if their eggless truffle was not available..
Condition 2: β¦and I was desperate for chocolate.
*Note: my taste palate leans towards dark bitter chocolate at a sweet spot of 65%-72% cocoa. So please use that as a gauge of my taste perspective.
Love this :) soft and not too sweet. Lots of coconut. Good pairing with tea.
π΅: $7.50
π€: Who knew yam and cream cheese would pair so well together!!!! Cake layers were really soft and moist, and the yam flavour was on the lighter side, but I'd much rather have that than artificially-fragranced food
As frequent cedele patrons this was their newest item that we had not tried before. While their normal muffins/pastries often disappoint in being too not sweet this tasted borderline healthy and was actually quite delicious. not bad. 7.5/10 would buy again.
Carrot Walnut Cake π° Surprisingly I used to dislike carrot cake but I guess as time passes I start to feel ok about eating it π And what I like about this is the walnut! I like how I can have different textures to my cake instead of just being soft and moist haha. The cream is not too sweet and everything is just so perfect about this cake. Good to pair this with a cup of tea or coffee! #myheartapprove for sure!

A quality blend of current-season Arabica coffee beans. Harvested from the best coffee growing regions in Ethiopia and Brazil, from small family farms that have been passed down through the generations.
.
These sustainable coffee beans are grown between 4 - 5 thousand feet above sea level. In these higher elevations, the coffee beans ripen slowly. Blended in carefully measured proportions, resulting in a rich, deep, yet balanced brew.
.
(swipe) This hand-breaded, crumbed fish fingers uses hake fish, which is sustainably caught.
.
Crisp on the outside, flaky on the inside, with a silky and tender texture. Nice savoury sweet flavour. Paired with a light drizzle of lemon juice, parsley, and creamy tartar sauce.

We enjoyed the pancakes the most. Sea bass and prawn quinoa was delicious too.
they heat it up for u on request, so itβs warm and buttery and crumbly while still being moist on the inside w a nice smooth crisp top!! love how itβs so generously studded w sweet cranberries too yumz
100% Cold Pressed Superberry Juice ππ₯ A little sweet but it's definitely refreshing. Wished it could be a bigger bottle (for its retail price) so that it can quench my thirst more & make the money more worthwhile lol. #myheartapprove since it's healthy hehe.

I consider cedele a rather family friendly cosy place. My fav tofu miso pasta has been changed to red miso. Honestly preferred the old version which had pumpkin. This just has a lot of capsicum etc things that I donβt favour. Also felt like my linguine could be more well cooked. π° Not the best experience at one of my favorite chain stores but I will always give my comfort place another shot.
Not sure when the menu changed, but they have a much wider selection of food now!
Egg omelette on crispy wheat wrap with millet, spring onion and melted cheese. Comes with small side salad.
Quite interesting! Iβve always liked the sandwich thins. This is like a fancier version. The omelette really elevated the taste of the wrap, and goes perfectly well with melted cheese. Kinda reminds me of marcheβs crepe but this is really crispy! The filling were a bit chunky to manage though! They have this egg wrap with other options too
- ham & cheese, with spinach and mushroom [$13]
- chicken, broccoli and red bell peppers [$13]
- prawn and avocado coriander [$14]
Eggs of your choice, grilled pumpkin and mushrooms, sundried tomato sausage, grilled ham, tomatoes, toast, butter and jam.
Good value for the portion and the variety on the plate! Only gripe was that the grilled pumpkin and mushrooms was slightly greasy.

Every year, my sister in law would buy me a tub of her favourite Cedele's pineapple tarts, which is officially called "pineapple pocket pie".
πΈ
This is probably due to their shape, which allows it to have my ideal ratio of pastry to pineapple fillings - more proportion of pastry than open top ones, and more proportion of pineapple fillings compared to enclosed ones.
πΈ
The jam wasn't too sweet either, and that crust was very crumbly and melty, so pick it up with care or it'll collapse before you eat it.

So this dish ($15 nett) replaced my all time favorite smoked salmon sandwich with dill yogurt sauce. I still can't quite rationalize how the addition of a salad and change of sauce warrants a $6.50 increase in price.... The addition of zucchini and mushrooms didn't fit well into the dish either, although it did serve to somewhat cover the meagre serving of smoked salmon. Rather disappointing, especially coming from one of my favourite cafe chains
Mango and Blueberry Tart from Cedele is a choice breakfast, pairing well with mint tea. Hope you're having it good π
