Established in November 2024 as a collaboration between Yeoh Tow and the En Group, this brand draws on the heritage recipes of the founder to serve delicious and authentic dishes.
.
The highlight here is the claypot pork bone and herb soup / broth, simmered with over 15 premium herbs including star anise, angelica root, wolfberry / goji berries, dangshen / codonopsis, licorice root, and garlic. The result is a rich yet balanced soup / broth, warm with herbal earthy bitter savoury sweet flavour.
.
Garnished with 4 tender pork cuts (pork belly, pork rib, pork collar, pork trotter) which have meaty savoury salty flavour, 2 bouncy mushrooms (shiitake, button) with vegetal earthy savoury sweet flavour, spongy tofu puffs with grainy sweet savoury flavour, crisp lettuce with vegetal sweet flavour, and crisp fried tofu bean curd sheets with grainy salty savoury flavour.

Revisited after two years, and while still enjoyable, it didn’t quite hit the same highs. The Lala Noodles remain comforting, with a fragrant broth of ginger and yellow rice wine, but the depth of seafood umami was noticeably lighter. The lala clams were fresh but not as plump, making the overall experience feel less indulgent than before.

Ordered some dim sum as sides, but they were pretty standard and nothing wow-worthy. The braised chicken feet, siew mai, and steamed pork ribs were decent enough, but lacked the standout factor to make them a must-order.

One of the best foods we ate in KL. The flavour of clams combined with rice wine was through the roof. For some reason, that made something as simple as beehoon so delicious.

Feeling extra boujee? Add some huge prawns to your already delicious Lala Bihun! And feasts like no tomorrow.

Lala-mazing 🤤 This Lala Bihun is a shell-abration of flavours! 🐚🍜

Lala Bihun (RM 14) 🐚
As a seafood lover, I was absolutely thrilled with the generous portion of fresh lala in this dish. Definitely worth the bib gourmand status that it has earned. The yellow wine was strong, giving the dish a boozy, sweet taste. The ginger and spring onion added an extra layer of sharp spicy and savouriness to the dish. The silky bee hoon noodles are like a soft bed for the lala to lie on.
What's more is that you can takeaway their broth as they help you vaccum seal it for long journey.

One of the popular food spot at Chinatown, serving their signature wantan mee for many years.

Unfortunately I came too late and they already sold out for their char siew. So can only grab their dumpling noodle.

I still enjoy much of their stilt style of noodle, which is like lor on it. Dumplings was really soft.

Fluffy bao and molten gooey filling from bao now. They are selling lots of filling of bao. Red bean , kaya, lotus paste, salted egg custard bao , pandan green and also nougats (fruit & nut or biscoff & candied almonds)

Soft shell crab bao RM19 - crunchy, big enough crab. Best eaten at the beautiful restaurant bar because chilli crab sauce might dampen the crispy crab

Pork belly bao RM20 - huge slab of pork belly quite fatty, very flavourful with preserved vinegar mustard veggies, also has crispy pork lard

Dumplings RM18 - 4 prawn and pork dumplings, meat is good , sauce is delicious need more sauce.

Pack of 6 Red Bean Baos ($8)
Pack of 6 Salted Egg Custard Baos ($12)

The bao itself is so soft and that red bean!!! The sweetness level is just right, and the filling is very generous. Possibly the best red bean bao I’ve tried.

I can’t say the same for the salted egg custard bao tho, but the salted egg custard doesn’t taste salted egg and it’s slightly more expensive.

Would go for the red bean anytime.
