Tender, well-braised cuts of duck, pork belly, tau kwa, tau pok and braised egg, all soaked in a smooth, lighter-textured braising sauce with mild herbal notes. The meats are moist and flavourful, each bite offering a satisfying balance of richness and delicate seasoning. Their garlic vinegar chilli packs a punch โ spicy, tangy, and seriously addictive!
I hadn't poured in the soup. It's better than expected. But the best thing was still the unhealthier karaage.
Founded in September 2019 by Lee Syafiq, this Muslim-owned burger joint serves up delicious minced beef smash burgers, epitomised by their signature Ashes Cheese Burger.
.
Sandwiched between fluffy soft charcoal infused burger buns with bready earthy savoury flavour, is a bed of crisp lettuce with vegetal sweet flavour.
.
Stacked with dual minced beef smashed patties which are juicy tender with meaty savoury salty flavour.
.
Layered with gooey melted cheddar cheese and the creamy house sauce for added cheesy salty spice flavour, slight kick of heat.
.
Incredibly messy yet satisfying.

This prawn noodles stall could easily missed even though they are actually facing the front main road.
Yet Liang Seah Street Prawn Noodle stall has a long history, serving their prawn noodle since 1946 and continue till today at this food centre.
A lovely and robust flavour on my first sip of the soup. Comes with delicious half peeled prawn and sliced pork.
The special bean curd from YY Kafei Dian offers a delightful culinary experience with its flavourful taste and unique texture.
Accompanied by a generous serving of vegetables, it's not only delicious but also great value for money at just $9.
Highly recommended for those seeking a satisfying dish to go with fluffy rice!
The fluffy doughnut from YY Kafei Dian is delightfully light and airy, with a perfect touch of sweetness, making it an irresistible treat.
Meanwhile, the plain croissant stands out with its wonderful layers and hint of buttery flavour.
Both are excellently crafted and highlight the cafe's commitment to quality baked goods.
Loved the iced milo and iced milk tea.
๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ฅ๐๐ฆ๐ ($9) - Creamy hummus with minced lamb that goes well with the soft pita.
๐๐๐ฆ๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ฌ๐ ($4) - Crispy addictive bites filled with minced lamb.
๐๐ฅ๐ฉ๐๐ณ ๐ฌ๐๐ฅ๐๐ ($6) - Refreshing salad with greens, tomato, and crispy cracker tossed in a tangy sesame sauce. Balanced out the richer meats and dishes.

๐๐๐ฆ๐ ๐ฌ๐ก๐๐ง๐ค ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐๐ฒ ($13) - An entire shank with fork-tender meat. Was never a fan of lamb because of the gaminess but this is was free of the funky flavour and enjoyable, especially when paired with the aromatic and fluffy basmati rice. Also enhanced by homemade sauces of Mushakkal gravy and lamb soup. They also have a ๐๐ก๐ข๐๐ค๐๐ง ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐๐ฒ option ($8) that impressed with succulent and well-marinated meat.

($2.20) Decided to order for trying their side dish beside their kaya bread. I felt that their egg tart custard was not that bad and not that hard (decent level) but their outer pastry crust was slightly hard to chew thru.
($10) tbh I did enjoy their Hainanese Pork Chop compared to another store beside them. It's much crispy and also crunchy texture for pork chop. The sauce for Hainanese Pork Chop was quite mild spicy and not that spicy that I thought of.
($1.60) Finally tried their best selling kaya bun even though they got a variety of dessert and snacks on the counter. The kaya jam got strong gula melaka taste and also got mild brown colour for jam.
I also got the Mini Canelรฉs ($8/ 6pcs) which the Aunty told me is only available occasionally. The texture was great, them being mini seems to make the crunchy dark caramelized crustย that muchย more addictive to snack on (not forgetting the contrasting tender interior). The vanilla flavour was pronounced too.
