Ordered at the self-service machines. Collection at the counter when order number was flashed on the screen. Help yourself to the chilli sauce and cutlery at the counter. Like that there’s no funky taste or smell in the intestines.

Came here cause of the Burpple deal but was told that the offer was not available on weekends which is a disappointment. Should have stated the terms clearly.

marmite chicken is nice
the porridge is actually rice slurry. too big bowl cannot finish drinking everything.
Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I ended up in Punggol, a place I rarely ever set foot on. Was looking for a place to eat and chanced upon this stall, “Huang Hong Ji” on Google Maps. It said ‘temporarily closed’ but I took my chances.
This stall is like a ‘hole in the wall’ with the only other stall being a drinks store. I ordered the Signature Porridge and it was amazing - it was filled with pork, fish and cuttlefish. The consistency of the porridge was great and I enjoyed every mouthful of it. I also loved the crispy bits that came with it.
This porridge literally made my day. It’s so good I would be willing to travel to Punggol just to have it again.
