massive portion and i loved the crispy batter! i liked that they gave sufficient sauce to coat each grain of rice. so many varieties of vege too. service was warm & space was small & homey :")
Hate it when they serve me takeaway ware when im eating in. But at least it was tasty! And affordable for cbd
spicy grilled chicken, rice, jack cheese, black beans and salsa, rolled in a flour tortilla
Tried Ah Liang Sherred Chicken Hor Fun ($4.50). The sauce is not those thick type and it has a herbal taste.
I find the quantity little and not fulfilling. I would not brave the queue for this
I usually ordered mixed(fried and normal fish slices) fish soup with white rice. Taste rich, alot of cabbage in it. 😅 There will be some lines during lunch time because its surrounded by office buildings. Syiok! #fish #soup #singapore
honestly, this might have been the dish that started my hunt for more salmon bowls. an unforgettable dish - refreshing, tingly and slurpy goodness. also, the flatter udon used managed to pick up a good sauce-to-noodles ratio that paired perfectly with fresh, thick cubes of salmon. the sauce too, was slurp worthy - imagine a whiff of fragrant sesame with that savoury soy sauce mix and a trickle of heat from the chilli padi. if i was simon, i’d give this dish 4 big yesses.
You’ve to try this when you are here!
Priced at 80c per piece (min. 6 pieces), this is considered affordable in the CBD area! I guess most of the ytf is made by them but I wished there’s a bigger variety to choose from…
Dry ytf @ $11.20
(14 pcs of ingredients, each at $0.80, no carbs)
Been here once and kept thinking of coming back. Got the dry version this time and love the sauce. Ingredients are nice also, and the fried items are well fried.
Walked past once during lunch time and the queue was all the way to the next building, been here a couple of times in the evening and got much lesser crowd.
Their laksa broth is pretty lemak, and has a good amount of spice as well as umami from a lot of dried shrimp at the bottom
Overall a decent place, can come if you're nearby but not too stunning otherwise
A light, slightly seafoody gravy. Quite different from lor Mee, except for the consistency. Surprisingly salty tho hard to notice
Everything was cooked well, the cuttlefish has a interesting texture, kind of like a harder jelly.
