They are specialise for their kolo mee, who have been serving here for many years.

Unfortunately I find their kolo mee lacked with the taste that I would expected. The noodle itself also too dry for me.

It was so many years ago when I first visited this place. I’m back once again as I need grab my dinner quick for the night in the area.

Sharing this with my friend, the dry wanton topped with surprisingly lots of pork lards.

overall v bland :(( needed to add a lot of sambal to give the noodles flavour

Haven’t had Fu Lin Yong Tau Foo in an extremely long time. Didn’t know they opened a space in Suntec City! Went for the minimum of 6 pieces with thick bee hoon in the signature meat gravy, but there’s also the option for soup and various noodles. Both the ordering and preparation was fast. Appreciated how the ingredients were fresh and pretty big-sized each. My favourite ingredient was the fish paste you tiao!

This is from Cookhouse by Koufu at Velocity.

Happy to find leicha at this food court, but compared to other leichas I’ve eaten, this pales in comparison. This is by no means bad, but the ingredients aren’t as tasty. There’s long beans, cabbage, xiaobaicai (that was overcooked), firm tofu cubes, ikan bilis, floss, and peanuts. I got brown rice, and it wasn’t mushy, and I did like that the ingredients weren’t oily. Thunder tea soup was alright, had sufficient bitterness. I wouldn’t mind eating this again since it’s convenient, but it’s very average.

Fried chicken with signature red chilli sauce @ $6.90
More veggie @ $1

It's quite good, the chicken is juicy and comes off the bone super easily.
Comes with daukwa and veggie, but I asked for more veggie and a bit turned off when needed to pay extra $1 ☹️
But they didnt charge me less when I asked for less rice LOL

Overall a good and satisfying meal. There's a bit of queue during weekday lunchtime

Our second visit is again as a backup. I tried kway teow this time. The mushroom meat sauce this time was less interesting. Our ingredients were quite average, with the exception of the fish paste youtiao, which I loved.

📍Blanco Court Beef Noodles
Managed to try the dry version of beef noodles from Blanco Court Beef Noodles. Thought I would prefer this much more over the soup version but this proved me wrong. The gravy of the beef noodle was decent enough, but the beef slices were too chewy to my liking. Somehow, the soup version seemed to be the more flavourful version.

One of my favourite curry noodles in Singapore is from Hup Lee Claypot Rice in @milleniawalk's @koufu.sg. I love how the ee mian soaks up the curry and how they are so generous with the portions too! 😍

I ordered Lu Rou Fan from here, it’s an affordable price nestled in a great location. Good for a quick lunch fix!

📍Blanco Court Beef Noodles
Usually go for dry beef noodles but it was completely sold out that night, so I went for their soup version. Surprisingly tasty and flavourful broth, but I think it got a bit too salty after a while. Nonetheless, a pretty decent bowl of beef noodles at a food court, albeit slightly expensive.
