More Reviews of good food at Ramen Nagi (Suntec City)

Yummy, creamy bowl of umami goodness. However it’s very rich and can foresee that it may get a bit jelak toward the end without any spice/garlic to cut through the porkiness

My fav - still drool thinking about it. Garlicky with squid ink. Tastes a bit like black pepper crab. Not sure whether they put MSG haha (probably)

You can build you own Ramen here with choice of thin or thick noodles, hardness or softened, how salty, how spicy, add black fungus or Cha Siew or braised pork, spring onions or cabbage. Then choose add on extra egg, meat, or even more noodles. Kind of like Ippudo but more choices.

We didn’t manage to get their black garlic ramen. Sold out. At 12.15pm. The Butao Ramen was so so. Can also pass on the gyoza and karaage chicken.

But judging from the queue, I’ll be back to try the black garlic ramen.

I ordered this with high expectations, as I’ve read plenty of good reviews. Unfortunately it is not one of the best ramen that I’ve had.

Current favourite is still Nantsuttei for a good tonkotsu ramen.

Thumbs up. Although I love ramen, I've been a bit jaded recently, with many tasting about the same. But Nagi lived up to its reputation. This black ramen has actually normal broth, but with a layer of blackened garlic and squid ink. There's also a ball of delicious black minced pork. Overall the broth and noodles were great. Try the intriguing chilli. Apart from the lack of a default ajitama, the disappointment here was the thin and dry chashu. You can select kakuni instead, I'd recommend that.

If you are someone who likes a strong punch in your meal, then this is definitely for you! Ramen Nagi's Black King (SGD$15.90) has a thick and strong garlic taste within the silky broth, finishing off with chashu, minced pork and black sesame.

Personally, I still loveee their original butao king as that is more mild and I could taste the richness of the pork broth. But if you are up for a switch, this might be a delightful choice!

The gyoza here deserved a special mention. Definitely different from other gyozas out there. So small and crispy! The sweet radish sauce/condiment was also really good.

First time here, and this may be one of the better ramens in Singapore. Or maybe I haven’t had proper ramen straight out of the kitchen and to my table in a while! What I love is that you can also customise almost every aspect of your ramen like the spice, garlic, vegetable, noodles and flavour.

I like my broth thick and heavy, so I went for heavy for most of what I could choose. It resulted in a very solid ramen, with a lot of spring onions and black fungus. Level 2 spice definitely lended a subtle heat to the ramen. Noodles wise, I expected to be a bit firmer since I chose hard as an option. I also added an egg, but sadly it wasn’t as runny as I wanted it to be.

Would return to try their other flavours like squid ink+garlic and basil!

Visited this place at the recommendation of a friend (who’s a major foodie!)

Had the original butao king and we could customise how hard we wanted the noodles to be (I don’t like soft noodles so yay), how thick we wanted the soup to be, how spicy etc. I chose level 3 but it still isn’t very spicy so feel free to choose a higher level if you are very into spicy food 😛

I had the pork belly instead of char siew, because my foodie friend recommended that. And he was absolutely right! The pork belly was sooo good and melted right in my mouth 😻 It was so tender and did not feel oily at all. Never had pork belly with ramen before but this turned out to be so good! The broth is super rich too.

Original King, $13.90. Award winning Signature Tonkotsu Pork broth is so rich and tasty! It’s so flavorful and you can customised everything according to your taste from richness of taste to noodle texture. They are also super generous in their fresh spring onions! Fantastic RAMEN 🍜 ! Ramen fix satisfied!

Yet another ramen restaurant that allows you to customise the way you like your ramen in terms of noodle doneness, flavour etc. Really good bowl of ramen at a good price point!

Ordered red ramen and it was really nice! Heard that we should try the seafood king ramen but we went ahead to try red ramen anyway! The gyoza was mini versions and Soo light and nice!

This Chashu rice is one of the best! Best Appetizer to start before you dig into their authentic Japanese ramen. Recommended to try the original one!

This dish was flavourful, a delight to the soul. Thoroughly enjoyed the dinner experience! Would highly recommend

Ramen Nagi allows you to customize your ramen: thick/thin noodles, heaviness of broth, amount of garlic, spice level, meat cut, and topping type.

I opted for the thick noodles, which resembled the thickness of a yellow noodle. I’d much rather their thin noodles which is similar to a finer u-mian!

Even after choosing light broth, the soup was heavy and flavorful. I prefer a lighter base, like shoyu, so this was not for me. Pictured is also their pork belly which was slightly tough.

Service wasn’t great — they were chatting amongst themselves, and were unresponsive and unfriendly.

Portions are large; I couldn’t finish this. Overall an okay ramen joint.

Ramen Nagi is probably one of the better ramen places i’ve been to in Singapore, and their menu is really well priced! Their Red King was spicy but not overwhelming, so it was delicious and satisfying. Had two other sides of chicken karaage (100% must try) and braised pork rice, which had a generous helping to really fill me up. Would come back to try their other ramen!

I had the Tonkotsu Ramen, which was so indulgent and just what I needed after a long day. What really surprised me was the massive serving of Chicken Karaage - juicy chicken battered to perfection. 10/10 would recommend trying this under-hyped dish when you're there!

Had a lovely dinner at Nagi Ramen. We had squid ink ramen + original ramen. The broth was smooth and creamy but not too 'gao', just the right balance ;)

We also had gyozas. They were bite sized and yummy! Will come back again!!

I had the original king with no spiciness and extra garlic. I liked that you could customise your soup and noodles. My soup was slightly salty initially but it might be because of the extra garlic. The noodle texture was good and the soup was flavourful without being too rich. The highlight of the ramen was definitely the perfectly cooked egg!
