Treat yourself to these hearty and comforting Chinese dishes today!

Here’s a perfect way to celebrate Yum Cha's 24-year journey—bringing back nostalgic dim sum favorites at an irresistible $2.40++ per item! These nine iconic dishes each brought back a unique flavor memory and left us craving more.

Every bite reminded us why these dishes are fan favorites. The Fried Yam with Scallop was crispy with a delicate touch of seafood, while the Braised Pork with Preserved Vegetables offered that comforting, melt-in-the-mouth flavor we can't get enough of. For something with a hint of sweetness, the Golden Pumpkin Dumpling and Pumpkin Yam Golden Cake each brought out rich, autumn-inspired flavors.

We also loved the Scallop Roll in Filo Dough—its light, flaky texture balanced beautifully with tender scallop filling. Lucky Tangerine Fried Prawn Balls not only had us admiring their presentation but savoring the burst of prawn flavor with every bite. For a twist, the Otak Siew Mai and Black Garlic Shrimp Dumplings delivered complex flavors, while the Squid Ink Dumpling added a subtle briny depth that was a pleasant surprise.

And the Tea Pot Bun? The pièce de résistance of the anniversary celebration! It was a playful treat with a perfectly fluffy texture that paired wonderfully with Yum Cha's signature tea.

If you’re thinking of trying these, definitely go for one of each—they’re expertly made, nostalgic, and worth every cent.

I cannot resist ordering Xlb when there is one on the menu. Got mine immediately after placing the order. Each dumpling is packed with a spoonful of soup. Lovely when eaten hot but I find the skin a little thick.

These chili crab pan fried buns are a must order!!!
Despite it being tabao-ed, the bottom of the bun was still very crispy. The top of the bun is soft and fluffy and it burst with juice when you bite into it. Lots of crab meat inside but eat with care as there were some shells in mine. Definitely handmade!

Lucky day for me as the queue was not too long!
Noodles are slightly thinner than those from well known restaurants but texture was good and goes well with the soup which was really nice to drink. Beef was a bit too vein-y and tough though. Can’t complain for this price point

Recently visited Good Combo Hotpot & BBQ for its signature buffet (S$34.79)/ pax during weekend. The buffet was about 90 minutes long. I like that each person had its own personal mini griller and hotpot, although both looked kind of small. Don’t forget to help oneself to the griller paper, disposable glove, and disposable apron at the table. For choice of soup base, I selected Norishing Chicken Fishmaw Broth, which was rich and creamy with pieces of fishmaw and chicken it. My partner had the Mega Shrimp Broth 巨无霸虾沕 (S$4.80) which was rich and packed with big pieces of prawn.

There’s complimentary condiment bar when one can build your own dip.

For drinks, we ordered Cold Barley (S$3/ 500ml) and Cold Brew Oolong Tea (S$3/ 500ml) which came in cute little bear and ducky shaped bottles.

We ended the meal with a choice of ice cream. Don’t forget to get the fragrance mist to negate the smell of barbecue on the body, hair, and clothing before leaving the restaurant.

They have 2 outlets here with one for takeaway and another for dine-in.

The dine-in outlet offers a much comfortable space to enjoy your meal under air-conditioned mall.

Here you can have more options such as their noodles offering on the top of their signature baos.

Went for their tomato egg noodles that comes with generous portion of tomato and scrambled egg on the top of noodles. Accompanied by a piece of veggies.

Pick your favourite soup base—Sichuan Spicy or tomato—and dive into the rich, savoury goodness. Don’t miss the Mala Beef stick or the adventurous Deboned Duck Feet.

Huge glass of Jasmine Lemon Tea. Probably came from a bottle (I think is chapai, not sure) and then zhng it up by adding some slices of squash lemon to give more flavour and extra refreshiness. It's good!

Lastly, you must try the Sakura Milk Tofu, a pink, silky smooth beancurd topped with comforting milky cream, heart-shaped edible sugar sprinkles, and crunchy chestnut popping boba with chestnut puree and a crunchy chestnut in the center.

The Brown Sugar Icy Jelly was a refreshing, cool dessert with a touch of sweetness and zest, though slightly watery in flavour.
