Always a pleasure to have a night chatting with friends while pampering ourselves with good food. Here we are, arriving to a quiet and secluded Izakaya an hour and a half before they closes as we thought they opened till 4am as initially stated on Google.๐Ÿ•“

Luscious, fresh and thick cut.
Uni is melty & creamy; Hotate is smooth to the tongue; Toro, Salmon Belly are beautiful, fatty and tender; & Hamachi is bold & buttery.

Loving this! Smooth steamy hot wobbly egg, topped with savoury salmon roe and creamy uni. The serving size of the cup is bigger than usual too.

This is addicting. Dense, flaky and chewy. Unique savoury taste. A very good snack to start with. It makes me wonder where to get this, I want to buy too.

One of the item on their delectable sides, I got the seaweed rolls. They are nori sheet with row medley of vegetable such as carrot, romaine, purple cabbage, cucumber and sprouts.

I must say it is actually very refreshing taste and healthy as well. It contains some crunchy almonds inside and served with oil free cashew sauce.

This is another hidden restaurant in Havelock II basement.

They specialise in serving vegetarian foods with special menu every week. Nasi Lemak is only available on their special menu and not on the permanent menu. So do check with them on the availability.

Their nasi lemak comes with veggies, mock meat, dried tofu, cucumber and sambal chilli. Overall was interesting and tasty as well, especially after mixing the rice with the sambal chilli.

Kaya Ondeh Tart and gingko nuts with yam tart + avocado milkshake

Overall nice and decent. Not so sweet n overpowering.

Quite liked the crust of these tarts as there was a crunch to it. The fillings were decent, but the ondeh topping was lacklustre. A decent place for dessert, but it didnโ€™t really impress.

Tiny pumpkin and yam ondeh ondeh balls were filled with liquid gula melaka (palm sugar) and coated with dry coconuts

The flurry ondeh ondeh balls were chewy and the liquid gula melaka added a nice surprise

And the yam paste added a touch of savoury note to the buttery French sable tart

A chocolate sable tart filled with Nougatine pieces and chocolate ganache, topped with milo nuggets and sprinkled with milo powder and gold dust

The chocolate ganache was rich and thick, whereas the milo nuggets added a bit of crunch

And the addition of gold dust added a decadent feel to the tart

Even thought this milo-flavoured tart is a little bit on the sweet side and a bit heaty, it has all the familiar flavours that would hit off and reminisce to any Milo fans

Overall, they were not bad for the price after burpple beyond! Peanut butter taste was quite distinct while the speculoos flavour was a good combination with the chocolate! However, the caramel biscuit was very soft which was quite weird. Would come back to try other tarts!
