Took my mum out for some quality time and we couldnโt resist this amazing 1-for-1 Senior Special on selected sundaes @SwensensSingapore! Available from 2pm to 4.30pm (Monday to Friday), itโs the perfect way to enjoy a little indulgence without breaking the bank. ๐ฆ๐

Amidst the blazing heat ๐, we found the perfect way to cool off โ a refreshing bowl of iced cheng tng โ๏ธ from this super popular dessert stall, loved by the Jurong residents. The queue might be long, but itโs totally worth the wait for their refreshing dessert packed with a ton of ingredients! ๐โจ

For those staying around Taman Jurong should probably familiar with the shop named Ice Cream Man and Friends that used to located inside Taman Jurong Shopping Centre.
I been there before when they still serving proper foods. They had since closed down and focus mainly on ice cream offerings with a kiosk at Botanic Garden now.
Located near to Bukit Timah gate, this dog friendly ice cream shop is a perfect spot to grab some cooling dessert after your activities at the park.
Chilly, melty and lusciously decadent. A comfort to accompany your dark late nights after work.
As an all-time fan of Mister Donutโs signature chewy mochi-mochi doughnut, I couldnโt miss out on the limited-time only National Day exclusive Ya Kun Kopi Pon De Ring ($3)! None too sweet, the coating was a nice balance of roasted coffee bitter notes and sweet white/milk? chocolate flavour. There was also a surprisingly tinge of saltiness to the kopi glaze which I really enjoyed.
Available till 31st August*
- Combination of plum and lemon was refreshingly sour which I liked, balanced with sweetness from white peach!
- Made with lychee, orange and lemon ๐
- Less sour with a slight floral lavender aftertaste.
- Similar to a cream puff exterior, bun was crunchy with a crackling cookie layer!
- ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ก๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ฉ (๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ข๐๐ช๐ข +$1): Buttery and slightly tart, mixed with real pineapple paste that was fibrous ๐
- ๐๐ฉ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ง๐ง๐ฎ ๐๐๐๐๐จ๐๐๐๐ ๐ (๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ข๐๐ช๐ข +$1): Tangy with strawberry bits, my fav amongst the 3!
- ๐๐๐ง๐ง๐๐ง๐ค ๐ง๐ค๐๐๐๐ง (๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ข๐๐ช๐ข +$1): Rich taste of hazelnut milk chocolate, my friendโs fav ๐ซ
๐๐๐๐๐ก๐ ($5.80)
- Texture was crispy on the outside with a light and cakey middle, my friend claimed as one of the best he has tried ๐ง
($3) finally tried second round for uji matcha bliss that they released halfway through before next month ended. So my sister did saw uji matcha cream sell at jurong point only and not for uji matcha french. So the donut was quite soft texture and garnish with sugar on top of the donut. Matcha Cream was quite smooth texture but taste like sweet (not much bitter taste), milky and creamy.
($2.50) my sister asked me to try it out for strawberry flavour instead because I wanted pon de ring for matcha flavour as it sold out for jurong point. It taste like meji strawberry milk tbh but then pon de ring was always chewy and crunchy donut that I have eaten ever.
First time trying Acai and had the Coco Flow Almond Butter ($10.80) and it was not bad.
Good if you still want dessert but in a healthy way
