V glad that this gem of an eating place is just around the corner of my house. Their menu is extensive - they don’t just sell hot dogs! I got their signature chicken frank and omg they did not disappoint. Their chilli con carne is a bit on the spicy level so beware! Gonna try their burgers and western dishes next!
Featured for their hot dogs and burgers, this newly opened Muslim-owned casual eatery in Lakeside might just be your next go-to spot for a quick bite! Think jumbo chicken hot dogs wrapped in crispy prata and topped with beef or chicken con carne with ther Jumbo Chicky Prata ($7) or dig into their Big Boy Chicky Burger ($7) for fluffy buns with juicy chicken chop patty, lettuce, cheddar cheese and their special sauce.
The launch of this uniquely Singaporean-flavoured, Ha Ha Cheong Gai Chicken Drumlets is a dream come true for har cheong gai-fanatics, like myself. Now, I can eat it all day and anywhere, be it ~ lunch, dinner or supper at all outlets islandwide. 😘

NICE WHAT?!
5-6 mins in the microwave and this Seafood Hor Fun (U.P. $4; Promo $3.50) is piping hot and ready to eat. Big flat noodles are soft with a bit of bounce in chew. While the gravy is rather plain, the charring of horfun imparts some wok hei. Stronger smoky fragrance from frying longer though, would improve it much. Fresh ingredients accompany every spoonful. With the crunch of bitter caixin, salty slices of fish cake, my favourite is the sweet burst of fresh, meaty prawns. Shredded chicken chewed tough but I might have nuked my meal a tad extra (oops!)

This Vendcafe by @chefinboxsg dispenses western and local cuisines heated, or frozen for takeaway. Blast-frozen upon cooking, it retains freshness and nutrition without processing. Some come with nutrition labels if you're conscious. It's a convenient fix, I'll say, for a late night, with drinks and snacks being options too.

Credit Cards, Nets Flash Pay and coins are allowed. Note, however, that the Western Delights machine only accepts $2 and $5 notes.

They have drinks, grab-to-go snacks, chilled food (only need 30s to heat) and frozen (need 3mins to heat) at fairly affordable prices. The most convenient part is that u can use your credit cards or ezlink cards to pay. A glimpse of how the future of our food industry will be like. And u'll be surprised just how popular this vendcafe is.

We tried their dry meesiam, seafood paella, chicken and mushroom soup after a jog. Basic instant food which serves as a quick fix.

When my brother volunteers to buy breakfast...
Despite the mixed reviews, I thought the new Crispy Chicken Sandwich was at least one level up from the usual McChicken. A classier version - the crispy chicken patty was topped with wild rocket leaves, shredded lettuce and tomato slices with their mayonnaise-based sauce, between two soft semolina buns.
