What a delicious mouthful, Chū and Co’s “Cacio & Pepe” ($9.50) had such a fun and tasty (tbh foolproof) combo - with slightly charred Japanese sweet corn, Camembert, Candied bacon and Pecorino cheese. The sweet-savoury toppings were truly the highlight for me but the dough acted as a great vessel as well. The base was relatively light, not all that dense or greasy. Felt pretty premium as I was surprised by the small edges of soft Camembert hidden under the strips of cured meat. I also got the “Ham & Cheese” ($9.50), crowned with sliced Sweet Potato, Honey Baked Ham and Brie de Meaux. Lacked that oomph for me but a great buy on a whole as well~

Coffee bombs are the best. Those friends who ate it love it 💪💪💪

Finally been to the famous Apollo Coffee Bar in Serangoon Gardens and I absolutely loved their coffee!

The Iced White ($6.90) was strong, not too milky and has that smooth nutty finish that is pretty unique as compared to other lattes that I've had. We had another cup that has oat milk instead and it enhanced the aromatic notes of the coffee before finishing up with the distinct malt-like flavour of the oat milk. Very very enjoyable.

As the cafe is quite popular, do expect abit of a wait! I waited for about 15 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. Will be back if I'm around the area!

Buttery toasted brioche buns, caramelised onions, wagyu patty, slaw & loads of cheeeeese. The wagyu patty was huge but it was a little on the dry side. Curly fries were well-seasoned and crispy!

Classic brunch levelled up. Spicy pork chorizo, sunny side up eggs, creamy smashed avocado and toasted sourdough bread. Can’t go wrong with eggs, avo and toast!

This is a must order if you have a sweet tooth like me. The pancake was served warm & it was soft and fluffy, generously topped with vanilla icecream, crunchy cornflakes and banana slices. There was also a serving of maple syrup on the side. The portion was quite big so it’s good to share this sweet treat!

Highly recommended for chocolate lovers! The tart was sooooo chocolatey, rich and decadent. The creamy mashed bananas were hidden between the silky smooth chocolate ganache and the buttery tart base & finally topped with a pinch of sea salt. A solid combination of chocolate and bananas. 🍫🍌

Prounounced as *Fran-suh-see-nyuh*, This was a massive meat monster with mad visuals and we knew we had to get it. A chicken sausage patty, spam slice, and steak were sandwiched between toasted focaccia and topped with a gooey emmental and a fried egg, sitting in a pool of orange sauce. While this was visually stunning, the taste fell short once you look at the individual components. The sausage patty and spam tasted were underwhelming while the steak was thin, well-done and carried only a mild beefy flavour. We also couldn’t make out what the sauce was supposed to taste like, but yet it was necessary as it would be too dry without it :/ this was filling, but pricey and we probably wouldn’t get this again.

The sample pic for this showed a bowl of creamy carbonara with a runny egg yolk in the center, covered by an tempting layer of shaved parm and it looked TOO GOOD not to order! Luckily we got this to share, because their sauce is made with cream and got surfeiting real fast. While it was delicious and they were generous with the bacon and shimeji, it would be difficult to finish this on your own. Not bad tho!
