Tried @acidbarsg for the first time and I think although there were some misses, the dishes that were good were wonderful 😍 with live bands and happy hour promotions, this would be a good place for dinner and drinks with friends!

The Spice Route Chicken ($30) may take some time to prepare, but it was a worthwhile wait. The chicken was very well marinated and roasted, and it had a slight char to the skin. The meat was very tender and succulent. Loved the spice rub, as the chicken was packed with flavour!

The Otah Otah Fried Rice ($24) was addictive. Fragrant and packed with flavour, it was moderately spicy and I loved the addition of Sakura Ebi!

If you are looking for some bar food, the Kang Kong Keras ($16) hits the spot. A generous bowl of fried Kang Kong was given, and it was addictive due to its crispy exterior. Perfect with the Thai chilli sauce given.

The Rickshaw Noodles ($18) was unfortunately forgettable, as it generally lacked flavour. Truffle Fries ($16) was decent, nothing much to shout out about.

Generally a good central location to meet for good drinks and food.

As godly as ever. I was just supposed to take one bite cos I don't sleep well if I have coffee at night, but I couldn't help but inhale half the cup

Must try

Good as ever. Somehow we had 5 balls this time instead of 4 previously. However season is ending so you won't see this on the menu afterwards

More as a side cos there's not enough mentaiko to stand on its own. It's made on the spot, and their mentaiko is not the ubiquitous junk. It's light and slightly umami with an appreciable heat

Good as ever. But not sure if I want to keep paying 30 bucks for this when there's 10bucks versions that are equally good(but without crabmeat)

Instead of sausage we have chorizo here. It's textbook, it's slightly sweet for some but that's how it's supposed to be

Not good this time. Beef tongue was overcooked, the flavours didn't mesh well

The red bean crust was interesting and the rice mochi was ok also, but somehow it's only ok overall

Wagyu was tender but not top tier. Examplified by the onion sauce

The fried rice is very home style. The two things don't go tgt, it's really weird you have atas food ingredients with very very basic fried rice(not even Japanese rice)

Very average. The sauce doesn't work w the fried rice anyway. And the fried rice was abit dry

Absolutely delicious. Super creamy w this umami, and the soft skin w some chew also contains the unique umami

Seriously good, they rlly had very good raw ingredients

Must try

Mindblowing

The best version of this dish. Peeled crab, intense crab miso that's as flavourful as it can possibly be, and a generous portion too

Sure the price is pretty high but I still think it's rather value for money, because of the quality.

Must try!
