The unusual Indian mee siam I've waited more than a decade to try. The main difference is the gravy is creamy and drinkable. Delicious overall, but I should've picked a better cut of mutton. I consulted the boss for fatty mutton and he gave me the leg cut, which was tendon not fats.

[CHINESE GARDEN, SINGAPORE] Westies, this one is for you 😍 I know saying that this may be the best prata in SG is such a bold statement, but come on, with 6/6 people in my group saying the same thing, this is definitely worth a HUGE mention.

Their prata base itself was so darn crispy and satisfying. Just think about biting into a crunchy savoury crust, with a fluffy buttery center... You will be addicted! I ordered Cheese ($3) and Egg ($2.40) and I was surprised to know that the egg version was still relatively crispy on the edges 😍

They serve their prata with curry and sambal, and though their curry is aromatic and flavourful without being too salty, their sambal was the bomb. With heavy anchovy flavour, this was so flavourful and changed the whole flavour dimension of the prata!

However, do note that the prata is really huge and extremely rich, so maybe 1 or 2 is enough 🀣 I was so stuffed after eating 2! I don't see any halal logo anywhere as well, so do take note!

Craving a spicy kick? Head over to Peacock North Indian Cuisine, conveniently located along West Coast Drive. This cosy spot is a must-visit for all spice lovers! Indulge in their signature Butter Chicken or the flavourful Masala Chicken, both rich, savoury, and absolutely delicious.

Seems abit less soggy than egg prata, and thus better. Not sure if it's one of or it's to do with the addition of onions

Crisp still disappears after awhile, the onion was quite fragrant

The flavour is really v good, maybe it's not obvious from the colour but there's good body. There's crunchy from veggies, the fried egg, and ikan bilis(less than before). The crunchiness of the ikan bilis deproving meant it wasnt the world beater it once was but it's still a very good version

Interior was wayyyyyy too hot, flavour was excellent as ever but as you're allowing it to cool the prata loses it's crisp very quickly

Sad

Don't ever takeaway this. The ikan bilis turns soggy after 5mins in the closed container. I ruined an amazing fried rice :((

Waking up early and enjoying this incredibly crispy prata around my neighbourhood this morning! A welcome change to my palate, after the wave of heavy feasting during the first three days of the Lunar New Year. 🫢🏻

The thickness gives it a substantial bite, the crisp stays for a while but it's abit confusing because it's sweet inside yet because the sugar was applied randomly, some parts aren't sweet. Yet it's served with curry

I guess you either eat it plain or just have curry with every bite, the curry overwhelms the sugar anyway.
