($38) seasonal festival cake but it really like cny cake lol. But it's quite refreshing and also sweet taste for cake. But the mochi was quite chewy and not that hard texture.

($35) It's quite strong bitter and sweet taste for chocolate. It's getting jelak if eating too much.

Wasn’t expecting to like this bc the description mentioned “rose garden cake”, but thankfully there is no rose flavour in it, it just has piped cream roses. This was good as usual, with light and smooth and melty cream cheese layers - for this cake there’s an even better proportion of creamy layers to cheesecake. Flavour combi was nice! The white peach bits within the cake gave a refreshing fruity brightness to the cake, cutting through the smooth cream cheese layers (even tho it was already quite light and not jelat). I don’t really like jelly layers on cake but this was quite alright. I think I might like this marginally better than the og double fromage!

This was quite yummy! The mascarpone cream cheese layer on top was melt-in-the-mouth and creamy, but still pretty light and not cloying nor too sweet. It was v smooth, almost like an ice cream. I liked that there was a slightly higher proportion of that compared to the bottom soufflé cheesecake layer which was q fluffy. It’s quite small and pricey but it’s worth the price and good for sharing! My team enjoyed it.

The matcha flavour isn't very strong but like everything they have, it's in great balance. I think it's the right strength otherwise u can't taste the light cheese. As with all their cakes, it's very well executed

Langue de chat is my favourite plain cookie but theirs tastes 50% like a cheap version. Well this was complimentary so wtv

Decided to try this cheesecake which many have recommended.

The upper layer is a sweet creamy smooth no- bake cheesecake, and the lower layer is a rich, tasty baked cheesecake. When you eat them together you get a rich yet light cheesecake. Something different from your regular rich New York cheesecake or burnt cheesecake.

Cake size is good enough for 4 people to share.

Plenty others have already sang praises of the Double Fromage cheesecake, so don't think there's a need to add more to the chorus. Maybe this review will be more of a note to myself, the note being: THIS IS DAMN GOOD. BUY AGAIN. AND AGAIN. AND AGAAAAAAIN.

Quickly becoming my go to for bday cakes, since there's no way we can gather in huge groups nowadays

It's really perfect because it's satisfying and the slice is of a smaller size which is more optimal given how people are becoming more health conscious

Review:
Somehow the top layer seems richer than the bottom for this flavour, and the strawberry flavour isn't too strong. Even tho it taste a bit artificial, it's still a damn good cheesecake as expected of them. As with any high quality Japanese product, there's great harmony between all the flavours and it's really addictive as a result

Props to their R&D, I'm sure it took a lot of effort to perfect the balance

I still prefer their original simply because I like unadulterated cheesecakes but this was superb too, highly recommended for birthdays

There's a very good review here and I'm tempted to save it to my own list but alas, she misused "literally". So now I have to write my own.

One of the few times burpple's description is very apt, this is worth splurging on. The fact that they insist on selling it as a whole piece, and yet hasn't closed in such a long time, should be a hint to the quality.

I am definitely a fan of cheesecakes and I've had more slices than I probably should have, so I'm really glad to taste an impressive one once in a while. The bottom layer seems to be a mix of some kind of cream cheese and cake, while the top is fluffier. The result is something that's really luscious and yet there's a tangible cheesiness, all the while providing an experience that's similar to ice cream due to the temperature it's meant to be served at(chilled).

Incredibly indulgent. The only problem is finding enough people to split the price and the calories. I'll definitely be back once I gather another group

Bursting with melon flavours and balancing with that light cream cheese. There is nothing to hate. I only wish this flavour isn't a limited edition. Get yours while stock last.

Reserve this for hardcore cheesecake lovers who will appreciate this tiny but delicious creation. The Hokkaido Cheesecake ($28) sees Hokkaido cream cheese and imported Italian mascapone atop a light and fluffy Japanese soufflé cheesecake base. Available only in limited quantities, their mild but decadent Matcha Fromage Cheesecake ($35) is made with premium matcha from Kyoto, and matcha and mascarpone cream cheese. For a zesty alternative berry-licious, give their Fraise au lait Double Fromage ($35) a try.

So hard to convince myself to spend $28 on a cheesecake slightly bigger than my palm 😩 Finally did months after the hype died down anyway, and ok it's really good 🤤 A light, Japanese soufflé cheesecake at the bottom, and a delicate layer of Hokkaido cream cheese + Italian mascarpone mix nicely set above; so simple but so so delicious. Definitely worth a try and the occasional treat.

Adorned with castella cake crumbs, the bottom layer was creamy, rich and thick whereas the top layer was light, smooth with a melt-in-the mouth texture. A luscious, rich milky flavour that literally melted my heart 💖. Using the finest and quality ingredients, this delicate and velvety double fromage cheesecake are airflown from Hokkaido, saving me the trouble and expenses to fly to Japan! 💖 Personally prefer this flavour over the matcha one (surprisingly), with its more prominent milky flavour and fragrance. .

Made with Hokkaido cream cheese, Italian mascarpone and premium matcha from Kyoto, this fromage cake comprises of two distinctive layers of matcha flavoured cream cheese cake and a top layer of mascarpone cream cheese, adorned with matcha sponge cake crumbs. Though the matcha flavour was rather mild and barely detectable, I was sold by the smooth, creamy and melt-in-the mouth texture of the luscious, decadent cheesecake. The cake was soft, creamy albeit light and not too overwhelming, making it a perfect afternoon treat or an aftermeal dessert! 💚💖 [PS: Heard there's a Hokkaido air tickets giveaway with the purchase of matcha fromage cheesecake. Double up ur chances by purchasing 2 matcha cakes instead of 1!] .

Letao's matcha cheesecake is ex ($35) for 12cm cake) but exquisite .. the mousse or rather froth-like mascarpone cheese melts into the baked cheesecake layer when eaten together. Though I find the matcha flavour is very subtle. Must close eyes to concentrate then only I can taste the matcha.

I'm usually not a fan of cheesecakes but this has me sold. Their limited edition berry fromage ($35) is releasing on 12 May, 8pm! Hope I'll get to try that 🙊

LeTao opened shortly after I painstakingly lugged the cheesecakes back from Japan but thank goodness for that because this limited edition Berry Fromage was so good! Light, luscious strawberry/ raspberry cream cheese that was not too sweet, with a tinge of sourness. This could be the cake for every occasion😌

Fraise au lait Double Fromage (Berry Fromage Cheesecake) - $35 nett

Located in a corner of basement 1 of ION Orchard, I was expecting a physical store, but it turned out to be a pop-up-esque booth in the middle of nowhere. Haha.

2 options: Chilled, or Frozen. The former is good if you want to eat it soon (keeps cold for 2 hours), the latter if you aren't getting to a fridge anytime soon (keeps cold for 4-6 hours). There is a sign at the store with more details on this.

I enjoyed his as much as the original LeTAO from Japan. The cheese isn't sickeningly heavy-- in fact, it's very light & fluffy. At $35, this is pricier than the regular one that goes for $28, but hey, it's special edition eh.

💳 Accepts credit cards
👍 Also accepts CapitaLand Mall Vouchers
🚫 No seats; this is just a takeout booth
