“Adventure is worthwhile.”- Aesop
Discovered a new place in the Solaris Mont Kiara area.
It’s actually comprises of a fusion of European and also Asian flavours and ingredients! There were a lot well thought out dishes which shows the care and passion given by the chef to curate the menu and it’s dishes..

Tried out the Pulled Burrata & tomatoes (RM29) as the starter and the portions here are of a reasonable size for 1 person to savour and enjoy! The burrata was fresh, silky and creamy with a touch of acidity from the sweet cherry tomatoes and also slight bitterness from the olive oil! This dish goes well with a dry and high acid white wine like a glass of Gavi or Pinot Grigio from Italy

Chocolate cheesecake (RM18+) on the left and Carrot cheesecake (RM18+) on the right. The creamcheese at the middle part of the chocolate cake gives a decent sourish taste that enhance the chocolaty taste. Whilst I'm a big fans of carrot cake gotta be frank that I'm quite disappointed with their carrot cake. I like my carrot cake packed with big chunks of nut and moist. Nutmeg's carrot cake is moist but I find something is lacking, flavour and the texture.

BBQ pull chicken sandwich. Fried jalapeños filled with cream cheese is soooo yumm. I'm surprised by how good their sourdough bread is, the right amount of sourness.

Nutmeg is showcasing a collective of risotto in the month of July. This creamy asparagus risotto is cooked to perfection with chicken jus served with baby Kailan, basil leaves, shaved radish and nicely seared salmon chunk. It’s smooth and cooked to Al Dante. RM39 per serving.

Nutritious purple sweet potato latte made with housemade paste and you could taste chunks of purple sweet potatoes. Not to sweet and worth trying. Available for a limited time period. 👍🏻👍🏻 RM12 per glass.

Fat olive moved to verve shop in Mont Kiara for quite a while. Menu had quite a variety of selection! We ordered 6 tapas and one pizza to share. This pork pizza is recommended (rm32)! Sharing is caring! The portion is meant for bigger group! I want to go back for more :9

Instead of my usual salmon poke, decided to go for their Soft Shell Crab poke (RM25.90) instead. Crispy and non greasy crab with generous serving of fresh ingredients.

I chose this instead of the usual poké bowl because I like my food dunk in soup, especially rice.

For the base, there are 3 options; white rice, brown rice or soba. I wanted soba but it was not available, so I chose brown rice instead.

This bowl came with peppered chicken, onions, corn, cucumber and cherry tomatoes. The curry wasn’t that spicy. I like the mixture of ingredients in soup. Not a common thing.

This is RM15.90.

First time at The Fish Bowl outlet in 163 Retail Park.

For the base you can choose between white rice, brown rice or quinoa. This bowl consists of spicy tuna, cucumber, corn, walnut, pickled radish, pickled ginger, onion, seaweed flakes, wasabi and baby-racha sauce.

Indeed Spicy Tuna Bowl; pickled ginger, raw onion and wasabi are kicking ass hot. Overall balance and good blend of flavour and ingredients. Just wish for ingredients to be averagely cut into almost equal size and a deeper bowl for easy mixing. Portion is perfect.

This is RM20.90

Sautéed hashed potatoes with onions, capsicums, salt beef, beef bacon topped with a sunny side up. RM26.50 per serving. Flat white RM10.

Got to attend a preview in Hubba Mont Kiara’s coming promotion for Christmas! In this platter, there’s a beef pot pie, chicken roulade, Norwegian salmon, smoked chorizo with Brussels sprouts and some rosemary hasselback potatoes. Cost only RM180 for 3 pax! Not forgetting to mention that this place has good variety of good wines at trade prices. Pretty much a steal dining in here!
