So Lemakโ€™s prawn paste chicken(Har Cheong Gai) is exceptional. It was crispy, fragrant & juicy.

The sambal is equally impressive: a well-crafted balance of subtly spicy, fragrant chili that avoids excessive oiliness.

Also liked how they seperate the ikan bilis & peanuts, so u have an almost equivalent amount of each. unlike some other nasi lemak stores where I find myself eating peanuts with a few strands of ikan bilis.

While I like how they have otah as an option (because I don't eat fried chicken or fish), the rice was quite mushy & it was sadly not lemak at all. On first bite, my reaction was one of confusion.

The chilli was good while it lasted, but nothing to shout about. The other ingredients - egg, peanuts, ikan bilis - were fine; I added long beans because I was afraid I'd be hungry if I didn't.

Honestly, I expected more. Even as someone who doesn't eat Nasi Lemak often, So Lemak unfortunately fell quite short of expectations. Maybe the fried items here are the highlights?

This nasi lemak stall is well known among the residents around, and usually a queue in the morning as everyone grabbing their breakfast.

You can choose from any of the dishes display there to complete your meal. I like their fried chicken and of course the chilli.

if you prefer less sweet sambal and a runny yolk, the nasi lemak ($4.50) here is the one for u! both fried chicken and coconut rice are comparable

Interesting thereโ€™s lots of crispy bits in the ikan bilis.

i liked that basmati rice was used!! makes this nasi lemak a little more unique. chicken was crispy and juicy too. but the sambal was sooo sweet literally 0 spice which is q a disappointment

The most important component here is the fluffy rice which is suffused with coconut-y flavour, and this went magnificently well with the sweet and spicy sambal. I also appreciated the freshly fried ikan bilis. The chicken wing was nice enough, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Having a Lobster Nasi Lemak is not only just a novelty here, its actually good. Lobster was huge, meat was tender and overloaded with nacho cheese. The only place in SG that serves Lobster with nasi lemak.

Added a chicken wing, and it was served Hot and crispy. The sambal also damn shiok.

And how can we not order nasi lemak when weโ€™re at Crave? You can never go wrong with the ๐—ฅ๐—ผ๐˜†๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฒ ($8.90), which has a fried chicken wing, fish fillet, bergedil and fried egg in addition to the ikan bilis and cucumber slices. So hearty!

The ๐—–๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฟ๐˜† ๐—–๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ธ๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐——๐—ฟ๐˜† ๐—Ÿ๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐˜€๐—ฎ ($6.90) was even more exquisite. The thick bee hoon, having soaked up all the savoury, spicy goodness of the sauce, together with the tender chicken leg, was a truly magnificent medley.

With silky smooth rice vermicelli and succulent chunks of beef, the ๐—•๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ณ ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—•๐—ฒ๐—ฒ ๐—›๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ป ($7.90) was bound to please. The rendang itself, fabulously fragrant and flavourful, made this dish supremely scrumptious.
