Seriously the last time I came here was so long ago, before COVID time. Today I found the reason to grab my quick meal before a show nearby.
Found out about this stall called the Hokkaido Ramen Ezokura. Went for their tonkotsu ajitama ramen. Flavourful broth with tender meat and soft boiled egg.
(Regular Size - $12.90++) I finally tried their ramen at orchard ctrl lvl 7 after seeing them on google lol. But the soup broth was quite slightly heavy and thick texture on flavour. The noodle texture can be customised to your choice from soft to hard. I did choose medium noodle texture. I felt that it's not that bad tbh but the soup broth I felt it was a bit turned off for me.
This ramen place no need to introduce further for their famous fire performance, but their popularity has since quiet down. There’s only two table occupied when I came on weekday dinner time.
When you order the signature ramen with their 226 years shoyu recipe, you get to choose whether you want to experience the fire show or not. If this is your first time then you should go for it at least once. Get your camera ready as they’re pouring the fire onto your bowl of ramen at the counter.
This unique taste of ramen blended with their chicken broth and flaming Negi juice, an original shoyu ramen recipe from Kyoto.
The ultimate ramen comes with chashu, pork slice, egg, seaweed and corns. The portion is available to choose from either regular or lite. So if you prefer to have lesser noodles, the lite portion will reduced to half of regular.
Their prices are high because they are known as a premium chain, and the food quality is decent
The pork fats were very tender and indulgent without being overly gelat. Soup was quite decent, it's not super thick, almost like a shio base mix.
Noodles were super thin, not my kind of thing but definitely go with the hard as people rec because it cooks in the broth.
Char siu has bite but it's sliced thin enough to work well
I don't like the spicy paste. It's earthy like mushrooms (although it's not, seems like just beans). Not particularly good on its own and doesn't work well w the soup either.
Overall not impressed. Esp not for this price
Quite disappointed with the repeated order. The serving was lacking of abalone, blueberries , pear sticks, a pair of oranges in the second order and amount of vegetables and fruits was very little compared to first order.
Was told by the staff there’s a surcharge for abalone which was not stated on the promotion poster next to the cashier! They were out of blueberries. In end my order was topped with abalone and a pair of oranges.

Not worth. Don’t need burpple for better deal.
I rather do Ala carte.
Yet another Burpple Beyond location that fails to state clearly that the deal is not available on Saturdays.
Burpple Beyond seems to becoming worse. I’m supportive of deals being unapplicable on Saturdays or weekends, but at least state it clearly in the T&C so we don’t have to waste our time calling the outlet or to come down only to find out it’s not applicable.
Will be making a formal complaint to CASE!
Too much leek. Too much. Eat until scared of the world Negi already. Soup is also too rich.
A bountiful plate of cold ramen noodles topped with cucumber, tomato, char siew, egg, crabstick, mayonnaise, and sesame dressing.
Some may find this too salty for their liking, but I was able to enjoy it just fine. The portion is also extremely large, and one may have trouble finishing it unless they are famished, or if they have someone to share it with.
3.5⭐ Walked passed Ohayo Mama San several times and didnt know that they served high tea until I read it on Burpple. There are only 6 items served though and a choice of tea to be share among 2 pax. We chose milk oolong tea and also requested to change the wagyu slider to avocado slider. Both savoury items are worth the calories but the sweet items are mediocre.
