I've always liked that here you can upgrade your white rice to fried rice or chicken rice. But this visit wasn't great. I ordered the priciest dish but it was lame. It's called prawn balls but they're just prawns.

Long story short, my family and I had an enjoyable experience grilling the meats, which are great in quality and really well-marinated too. Don’t forget to dip the juicy grilled meats into the onsen egg, as well as their in-house dipping sauces for that extra oomph!

For those who are indecisive, try this set meal that feeds 2 pax. Inclusive of 200g karubi, 50g prime karubi, 50g gyutan, 200g sliced chicken, mushroom platter (consisting of king oyster, enoki and shiitake mushrooms), 2 onsen egg and rice.

Wouldn't miss out on the USDA Angus Striploin and prime karubi on my next visit! 🤤

As a huge fan of financiers, I was really excited to try @leanbento's new Protein Financiers, which are halal-certified, fluffy, and low-calorie, but without highly-processed protein, artificial flavourings and additives.

These Protein Financiers were developed by their founder @yangyang.charles, who created this to make up for always missing his meals, his urge to snack, and desire to stay lean, while cutting back on processed foods and staying youthful.

It works very well as a lean pre/post workout snack, meal replacement, child-friendly snack, with just 179kcal per financier.

Flavours I tried included White Sesame, Black Sesame, Butter and Cinnamon. Cinnamon was my favourite, with it being the most flavourful, and overall all the financiers were pretty soft, not too dry, and great as a snack! There's also other flavours such as Chocolate and Matcha, which sounded pretty interesting too!

One of the best salted egg chicken in town. Not the creamy type one, but the sauce is top notch 👌 great combination of salty and sweet and you can really taste the salted egg

Great plate of malay food. All the dishes taate great and the fried chicken was nice and juicy and not messy to eat as the meat comes off easily.

Only complaint is that the rice is quite dry and they didnt give enough curry sauce.

Both chillis were great!
They serve ayam penyet on mon, tue and thu, and mutton briyani on wed and fri. Expected it to be crowded but was quite empty when we reached at 11+ but subsequently became quite crowded closer to noon.

Will be back to try more dishes!
