[TELOK AYER, SINGAPORE] If you fancy a good evening night out with good food and drinks, look no further as @gotti.sg got it handled. Splendid food, really good cocktails and entertaining bartenders and servers really made our evening here.

Being an Italian restaurant, Gotti executed their risotto and pizzas really well. Risotto Al Granchio 🦞 ($32) boasts a really delicious lobster bisque with bits of crabmeat that provided additional sweetness. There was the slight bite to the risotto that I was looking for too! Pesto E Burrata 🌿 ($36) pizza was a delight as well, with a fluffy chewy crust that was so well seasoned, and a pesto & burrata flavour combination that was rich and aromatic.

As for starters, Ceviche Di Capesante 🐚($32) was really refreshing with tangy, sweet and savoury flavours all coming through from the yuzu dressing, scallops and ikura. You can try to ask for their current hidden menu, which was their Beef Tartare 🐮 at that point of time. It was so fresh too!

Desserts can't be skipped here, with their Tiramisu 🍰 ($18) being a lovely end to the meal. They don't go easy with the liqueur in this, which made it so satisfying 😋

Their cocktails are definitely a speciality here, with the bartenders being so skillful. Their Old Fashioned 🥃 ($22) was really one of the best I've had, with the whisky blending so well with the cinnamon flavours. They can even do bespoke drinks, which is an experience to try 😍

They have speciality event nights with DJs playing running across several days in a week too... Gah there's just too many reasons to come here 🥹 Everyone in the @gotti.sg team was so lively, and you can see their passion in their job through the food, drinks and service. Can't wait to be back for a good evening again. Thank you @gotti.sg for the invite 😍

This is my fav pizza which has a thin and crispy crust🍕and it is topped with lots of mushrooms!
The deep fried sweet potato is also crispy and crunchy

generous portion!! chicken was dry but when mixed w the sauce it’s so good

omg this is actually so good?? and so value for money?? pasta was not al dente but not too soft either; had a nice texture. I like to stuff each conchiglie with walnuts & pecorino cheese HAHA textural contrast yuh. a little salty but idm it

Grilled Berkshire pork chop together with fig and marsala. Pork was decently executed in terms of char and texture, and the sauce had a thicker consistency that was more on the sweeter side. While the sauce did not align much to my taste profile, I thought that the pork was a bit on the gamier side as well - something I can accept for lamb, but not so much for my pork.

Maybe I didn’t choose the right dishes during my visit here, but there are glorious reviews on google about this place. That being said, Thirty9 being the sister branch of Mozzarella bar has extremely warm and friendly service - and for that I’d return and give their other dishes a try.

What you see is what you get. Honestly was a bit disappointed with this dish especially because it’s pricey and I expected more seafood flavours to it but I’ve only got myself to blame. The pasta was a simple tomato sauce with basil concoction, so nothing mind blowing one would expect. And I guess the hefty price tag comes because of that slab of lobster, which is indeed lobster. But we all also know that lobster is lobster that’s just a super expensive crayfish. Simple dish aside, I honestly thought that there were many other ways to match the taste of this pasta with the price, as the combination of tomato sauce pasta and lobster was both bland not the most complementary.

Non alcoholic, it's a good enough rendition but very expensive although portion is somewhat big. Better to share

Prosciutto, cheese sauce, pistachio powder probably?

The cheese sauce was good. The crunchy crust was strong, but it's at the expense of having too much bite. The dough was overall alright

Prosciutto was ok, overall it's a pretty decent pizza even if slightly unusual

Quite unknown to the omakase scene here in Singapore, you will be surprised to know that @monte.risaia.sg is actually quite liked by the Japanese crowd, as 60-70% of their clientele are Japanese.

I had their 5 course lunch omakase ($98) and I left really satisfied! The whole experience was very intimate, as you can have small conversations with the Japanese chef and the Singaporean staff. Food items were simple and non-pretentious; you don't get really instagrammable food but the chef really knows how to bring out the best of fresh ingredients.

Take the Lobster Bisque for example, the soup seemed simple as it just had scallops within but the broth itself was so deep. You can taste the rich umami flavours and yet it was not too salty. Scallops were torched well for a smoky flavour and their meat itself was sweet.

Even their signature pasta was glorious, it was a simple fusion tomato pasta that was seasoned with garlic and shiso leaves but yet it was one of the best pasta I've had. Tomatoes were naturally sweet, the garlic flavours were brought out naturally, and best of all the pasta was perfectly al dente. The Japanese element of shiso leaves gave the pasta another dimension of flavours!

Definitely coming back again for more. Heard that their menu changes frequently so I can't wait for my next treat here!

visited specially for the saffron cream stracci pasta, while the handcrafted pasta dish was flavourful & unique, the vongole pasta was average - imo slightly overpriced for the portion, ambience & service.
