Itโs pretty refreshing too especially when eaten out of the fridge;)) That refreshingness makes it dangerously addictive. Honestly, I wouldnโt hesitate to pick this over the normal egg tarts!

Loving the chilled beancurd filling together with the crumbly texture of the tart. The soya beancurd was soft and silky smooth and held solidly in a buttery tart cup. Personally I feel that the soya bean flavour could be stronger but nonetheless these tarts are delicious and a healthier choice than the usual egg tarts. Definitely best to have them chill.
I was really excited to try this because I love beancurd and egg tarts! However, I do not think the two go well together.
Individually, the beancurd was soft, silky and smooth. Itโs more of a soy pudding consistency rather than a beancurd. Itโs not very sweet, so I think itโs a good gift for your ahgong/ahma! But personally, I would have preferred it to be a little sweeter.
The crust is very thick and crumbly, with a slight buttery taste.
The price is very reasonable, the tarts are sold at $10 for a box of 8.

Just got crispy for outer filling and also smooth filling like a jelly texture ๐ฅฐ. So you all should be tried their beancurd egg tart. We used to order their beancurd egg tart bck at middle road so their middle road building went to en-block and moved to little india mrt area instead for a while already.

Itโs been awhile and you have been missed! Been missing this Chocolate Rice Butter Cream Swiss roll cake over the CNY period but it was temporary stop as they had to prepare their signature golf pineappple balls. Now, they have resume and itโs back on production again! Super soft, fragrant and not too sweet for our liking! Even when itโs just out from the fridge, the sponge cake is not tough and dense at all, itโs so super fluffy! Best served chilled, and accompanied with hot tea/coffee anytime of the day! Definitely one of best out there! โ

Lady boss here stared at my mum in disbelief when mum queried if she had samples for the establishmentโs cookies, she was very confident of her products we inferred.
Iโd accede her behaviour for the beancurd tarts here remains just as good since Iโve had them more than a year ago. The silky smooth beancurd pudding on a Chinese tart base with a symmetrical thickness is quite an art. Still the best beancurd tarts Iโve had till date, at a price point for the masses.
Nestled along a small street along mackenzie Road, is Le Cafe which serves up delicious traditional pasties. I got the Bean Curd Tarts ($10 for a box of 8) and man I absolutely loved it.
I liked that the Beancurd filling was smooth and flavourful but at the same time really light. The tart shell had nice buttery notes which further enhanced the eating experience. It was so tasty that I finished it so quickly.
Enjoyed these treats because they werenโt sweet and yet you have the best of both worlds; tau huay and tarts.
Gobbled down a few the day I bought them!
If youโre looking for something sweet like chocolate tarts, guess this may not really suit your palate.

Didnโt particularly enjoyed it because it wasnโt sweet enough for me though it was understandable since itโs soya bean tart and not egg tart. ๐ My personal preference is to have it at room temperature because the tart was softer as compared to having it chilled. Any of yโall tried this before?

Love the crust! The buttery crusty exterior is very solid and thick and has a crumbly bite to it๐ The crust was very sturdy and it doesnโt fall apart!
First time trying a beancurd tart! Itโs a refreshing change from the usual egg tarts. The beancurd filling was sooo soft, silky and smooth! Itโs not sweet at all! However, I feel that the beancurd/soya flavor could be stronger!
Le Cafeโs Beancurd Tart feels like a healthier choice (but yet equally tasty) compared to the normal egg tarts! This is indeed a delectable treat thatโs suitable for all ages.
Remember - best is serve chilled!

Got this blackforest swiss roll to try, together with my beancurd tart order. $11 gets you 8 slices. The cake itself was firmer than I expected, and the filling a bit one dimensional. I love the concept tho - less cream than the usual blackforest layered cake.

Best to eat it out from the fridge when the beancurd is chilled. Tart crust is very sturdy, buttery, and tasteful, together with that irresistible beancurd which is very soft, silky, smooth and fragrant! Delectable and suitable for all ages, we couldnโt stop at one tart and had reach out for the 2nd tart! A buttery shell encased the beancurd filling, thick enough to be sturdy, yet not over doughy and distasteful. Buttery fragrance made the outer crust crumbly and smooth, but not too oily. Perfect ratio ๐

Itโs not always whatโs on the outside that counts โ the wobbly beancurd filling was good, too. Similar to the consistency of laobanโs custard, this chilled filling made it a good dessert choice. My only gripe would be that the soya flavour wasnโt very strong.

Buttery fragrant crust encasing soft wobbly soya custard that isnโt too sweet! Absolutely love these soya tarts that we bought 2 boxes of 8 at one shot! Have been eating these since I was young and the same comforting taste has never changed โบ๏ธ Next time, Iโm gonna pre-order to try the grass jelly/red bean flavours!
Itโs my first time trying the beancurd tart from @lecafe_sg and it is legit good!
Personally, as I am not someone with sweet tooth, I find that the taste of the bean curd tart is perfect for my liking and also loving the smooth and silky texture of the beancurd filling! Thank you @hojiakstory for the yummy treat!
