Nestled in the lush greenery of Fort Canning Park, Le Jardin offers a serene escape into nature. Surrounded by blooming flowers and the gentle sounds of the outdoors, this cozy and charming restaurant provides a tranquil dining experience. Pet-friendly and welcoming, it’s a perfect spot for a leisurely afternoon with loved ones, whether human or furry.
From 3 PM to 5 PM, Le Jardin’s menu focuses on a curated selection of starters and desserts, making it an ideal destination for a light yet satisfying midday indulgence. The Fried Calamari is a crowd-pleaser, featuring perfectly crispy rings served with a vibrant mango salsa and creamy wasabi mayo. The balance of textures and the interplay of spicy, tangy, and creamy flavors make this dish a refreshing yet indulgent treat.
For those with a sweet tooth, the Belgian Waffles with Chocolate Hazelnut are a dessert not to be missed. The waffles are golden and crispy on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside, and paired with a generous scoop of rich chocolate ice cream. Hazelnuts add a delightful crunch, while the chocolate drizzle ties everything together in a symphony of flavors.
Le Jardin shines as a mid-afternoon oasis, offering a unique blend of nature’s tranquility and exquisite culinary offerings. Its location within Fort Canning Park adds to its charm, providing diners with a serene setting to relax, recharge, and indulge in a thoughtfully crafted menu. Whether you’re there for a quick snack or an extended break, Le Jardin’s starters and desserts are sure to leave a lasting impression.
You can choose to either seat outdoor, or indoor with the flower decorated. But I would definitely recommend choosing the seat at the side facing the greenery view.
A lot of items to choose from their brunch menu, and their croissant waffle is one of the popular item.
Comes with truffle scrambled egg, sundries tomato banger, balsamic roma tomato, hash brown, sausage and of course the croissant.
The croissant has the satisfactory kind of texture that pair well with the truffle scramble egg.
A restaurant you can find at Fort Canning Pak, housed within Fort Canning Centre at the corner. They open from morning till night for any kinds of occasions.
If you are here early like me, they open from 9am serving brunch.
They also served extensive selections of drink here as well, from your morning coffee fix to some refreshing drink like this one.
Made from their homemade rose syrup, lychee syrup and jasmine tea. Beautifully presented.
Vegetable lovers will be delighted with their Charred Broccoli 🥦, paired with garlic aioli, parmesan, kailan puree & shredded seaweed. A little salty on its own but earthy flavours on point 💚
Their Senor Pork left me satiated! Just the juiciest but tender & not dry, this grilled Spanish iberico pork shoulder 🐖 is paired with rhubarb chutney, roasted pumpkin puree 🎃, burnt butter cream & grilled baby cabbage. A hearty dish!
My favourite dish was their Not Your Ordinary Ham & Cheese! ❤️❤️❤️ Featuring perfectly crisp grilled sourdough sandwich 🥪 layered with country style ham, Serrano ham 🍖 & melted brie 🧀 with a drizzle of miso mustard, I might have found my fav toast! 💯
Here's Catalonian's Pick, comprising springy grilled tiger prawns, romesco sauce, pickled red chilli, fried shallots & sesame seaweed. I liked the nutty grainy sauce! 😋 Of course, the highlight is definitely the huge prawns of good quality! 👍🏻
Edition's Cioppino was comfort food at its best! ✨️ Love the white wine tomato seafood broth 🥣 loaded with huge prawns & clams! Definitely one for the seafood lovers! 👍🏻
The floral-themed cafe was lush and beautiful. It felt that we were dining overseas as the interior was absolutely charming and dreamy. We had the popular Crossiant Waffle ($24) which came with buttery croffle, truffle scrambled eggs, sauteed mushrooms, tater tots and some greens. I've had some expectations and was left disappointed as the croffle was neither airy nor fluffy. It also lacked the buttery of a crossiant or sweetness of a waffle that I was expecting. The Spicy Squid Tagliatelle ($22) was pretty average as well with light flavours. Still a gorgeous place so I wouldn't mind coming back to try the sweets.

Squid Tagliatelle - $22
·
Lovely pasta that’s flavourful, and with a hint of spicy. The taste of white wine is prominent in the dish, and I really enjoyed.
The squid was fresh and cooked to the right tenderness. Plus points for dining in at the restaurant filled with flowers

Oozy lava cake and decent mochi.
The staff provided a candle for us to celebrate my friend’s birthday! Food for thought has a lot of natural light and is a very comfortable place to chill especially after viewing the exhibits!
Very limited menu selection of you are looking for mains. Fair enough the draw of this place is of course being surrounded by fresh flowers everywhere but that novelty wears off once the quality of the food is put to the test .
