The Chicket Cutlet Sando ($5.90) is made with a crispy cutlet and a slab of egg sandwiched between two white bread slices. Though it was simple and wasn't a flavourfully loaded sandwich and the egg lacked any fluffiness, it was a filling one that was satisfying enough for a quick lunch grab. The sando also came with a couple of crispy and tasty hashbrowns and a cup of hot coffee/tea.
With 1 for 1 burpple deals it was value gor monies. The burger was juicy 😋. Chicken taste good too

Stumbled upon this cafe while exploring Pasir Ris Park and was surprised to find that both their Gula Melaka milkshake (creamy and thick) and prawn aglio olio was really good!

1)Smoked Duck Pasta($6.50) - 7/10 Smells full of mushroom cream sauce. Noodles are ok, but the cream sauce nvr really matches well with the noodles. Duck is nice, got Abit of texture and char,Abit salty too. Everything in one mouthful has the smokiness of duck but the sauce doesn't do much to help the dish,it is just a bystander.
2)Sweet Potato Fries($5) - 8/10 Tastes good,like sweet potato. Like the addition of sugar and softness of the fries. Crunchiness is present too. Quite surprised at this standard of fries tho.

The chicken is nicely seasoned and grilled. But however tastewise it is more like sambal chicken or induced in otah perhaps due to the spicy sauce. And the cucumber wasn’t as crunchy as I thought it would be

A bit of a let down though as it had no flavour related to the laksa dish

My usual weekly dosage of kaya butter steamed bread. Comfort food for the the cold weather.
I used to judge people who sit at Yakun eating this. But now I finally understand because this unassuming cracker was so darn good! 😂
Definitely expensive for something that you can do at home, but I am inherently lazy, to do it myself and also can’t say no to the thick slabs of butter, slathered with sweet Kaya, sandwiched between two crisp crackers.
Recommended to share because I had both, alone, and felt a tinge of regret shortly after maxing out my butter quota for the month 😛
