Recently visited Good Combo Hotpot & BBQ for its signature buffet (S$34.79)/ pax during weekend. The buffet was about 90 minutes long. I like that each person had its own personal mini griller and hotpot, although both looked kind of small. Don’t forget to help oneself to the griller paper, disposable glove, and disposable apron at the table. For choice of soup base, I selected Norishing Chicken Fishmaw Broth, which was rich and creamy with pieces of fishmaw and chicken it. My partner had the Mega Shrimp Broth 巨无霸虾沕 (S$4.80) which was rich and packed with big pieces of prawn.

There’s complimentary condiment bar when one can build your own dip.

For drinks, we ordered Cold Barley (S$3/ 500ml) and Cold Brew Oolong Tea (S$3/ 500ml) which came in cute little bear and ducky shaped bottles.

We ended the meal with a choice of ice cream. Don’t forget to get the fragrance mist to negate the smell of barbecue on the body, hair, and clothing before leaving the restaurant.

Finally had a chance to dine at @limesingapore for their weekend lunch buffet ($78++) and it's definitely pretty decent with just some misses!

The highlight got to be their seafood selection, with several exquisite items such as freshly shucked oysters, Boston lobsters and snow crab legs. The oysters were fantastic; juicy, succulent with fresh seafood savouriness. The crab legs were meaty, fresh and naturally salty.

For many buffets, they don't do their roast beef right. However, the rendition at Lime hits differently as it was surprisingly tender with a good beefy flavour. One of my favourites was actually their Cheese Wheel Pasta, it was so creamy, rich, cheesy and the pasta was al dente. Actually went to take 3 portions in total!

Cakes were mostly good, as they were rich and moist.

And as all buffets, they have their misses. The sashimi here was really not good, especially their tuna. The other Japanese items like sushi were really forgettable. Ice cream selections were just too frozen hard to grab anything.

Nonetheless, this is still a decent buffet to go for your celebrations. With a beautiful ambience, I believe it is date night worthy!

Brought my family there for the dinner buffet. Enjoy the variety of dishes but the cold seafood section is very sad. Anyway, the crepe, the chicken rice, the laksa and kueh pie tee were yummy! Overall, ambience and service was good.

Lime Restaurant’s annual LobsterFest is on till 13 Aug, with a whole line-up of unlimited servings of lobsters. My favourite was their Kam Heong Lobster, done very fragrant with the generous use of savoury dried shrimps and curry leaves. Meat was firm, fresh and juicy! Price includes unlimited servings of beer, chilled juices, specialty coffee and tea.

Went to Tiffany Cafe recently and had their Lunch Buffet ($42++ per pax)!😇 Quite a good spread of food ranging from salad, cooked asian delights, chilled seafood, and there's even a laksa station🤪 Desserts were mainly cakes (e.g. choco, red velvet, oreo cheese cake etc) but there are fruits and free flow drinks too!

Overall ratings 6.5/10! Food is okay, but nothing thats 'mindblowing'😅! I would recommend their roast beef and their Ayam Masak Merah (Chicken)😁

Nice Aircon place to have your own personal hotpot with bbq. Buffet that come in different price range depends on the ingredients that u can order. Soup base is nice. Ingredients are fresh. End the buffet with ice cream.

A rather good traditional Korean bbq restaurant that uses 100% charcoal. I went for the buffet which came with a free flow of banchan, lettuce and egg. The buffet options are limited to meat dishes only with choices such as marinated beef, beef brisket (limited to 150g/pax), marinated chicken in soy sauce, marinated chicken in chilli sauce and marinated/non-marinated pork belly and pork collar. They are also quite strict with the 90 mins buffet policy to make space for other patrons.

The meat came in thick-cut slices and was well marinated. My dining companions incl myself all preferred the marinated range of meat. It grills well over charcoal with a nice smoky flavour. They also change the grill plate frequently (without asking) to ensure we get clean and non-charred plates to enjoy bbq our meat. I feel the buffet price is worth the quality of meat but if you are looking for premium quality then maybe you can consider going ala-carte.

We also ordered a kimchi pancake separately to share and I would totally recommend this to anyone who is considering getting one 👍
