The uniqueness of this restaurant compared to other PRC restaurants is its Beijing slant. Because it's in the north, the cuisine can be quite different. I've never seen this noodle elsewhere for example. It's very homely, at the risk of boring. Mainly eggs, clams, sliced meat and greens.

Not bad. It's denser and stretchier than others.
Not bad. Semi juicy and okay taste.

They have almost everything you can think of as Dim Sum in the menu, even roasted meat, western snacks like fries and desserts!

Highly recommend to go for the dim sum as they are surprisingly really really good! on par with some other restaurants out there but FREE FLOW here! The CCF and Congee is quality π so is their 5 wonders siew mai which is super unique β€οΈ- Chicken Siew Mai, Otah Siew Mai, Truffle Siew Mai, Mei Cai Siew Mai and Curry Siew Mai

Recommend to go early as they donβt accept walk ins!π
Went to Swee Choon 2 weeks ago and ordered their Char Siew Bao, Beancurd Seafood Roll, Chicken Claw, Rice Roll with Char Siew, Beancurd Prawn Roll, Shanghai Wanton Noodles (Dry), Chilled Chicken in Spicy Bean Paste, Japanese Cucumber and Black Fungus Salad, and some drinks (~$60/3 pax)!
Overall ratings 8/10π Biased to Beancurd Prawn Roll but they do it so well hereπ― The Wonton Noodles and the Char Siew Bao is also pretty good, will definitely be back next timeπ
Still the best bao place in Singapore, by far
My third time here, I stay in the west. Theres no higher mark of acknowledgement
However I have to admit by my third time I kind of get used to it and don't appreciate it as much as the first time. However the friend I bring got his mindblown and that's what's important

Definitely dont takeaway, else it's just a very normal pau. You need to have it there for maximum fluffiness
This sucks. Way too sweet
The egg really affects how shiok it can be, but still good
I also had their siew mai again. I guess I was too easily impressed before. It's good but not mindblowing
Delicious. I don't normally like the loosely packed style, but this one nailed it. Loosely packed and soft but no less intense in flavours. Probably the best I've had for this type (as compared to the atas Chinese restaurant style)
