“Adventure is worthwhile.”- Aesop
Discovered a new place in the Solaris Mont Kiara area.
It’s actually comprises of a fusion of European and also Asian flavours and ingredients! There were a lot well thought out dishes which shows the care and passion given by the chef to curate the menu and it’s dishes..

Tried out the Pulled Burrata & tomatoes (RM29) as the starter and the portions here are of a reasonable size for 1 person to savour and enjoy! The burrata was fresh, silky and creamy with a touch of acidity from the sweet cherry tomatoes and also slight bitterness from the olive oil! This dish goes well with a dry and high acid white wine like a glass of Gavi or Pinot Grigio from Italy

🇰🇷
Our usual order is the hot soy sauce with garlic chicken 🌶
Prices are on the higher side but trust us that the fried chicken is well worth the extra bucks 😋😋

It’s been way too long since I had this dish I honestly forgot the name of it, but this is the one description closest to what it looked like. It was my first time in The Majapahit (in September 2018) and I have been back here a few times. I liked the Indonesian/Thailand mix in their food because it’s one (two, actually) of my many favourite cuisines. Other than this, I also had the fish fillet with Thai sauce (RM 14.30), Sundanese grilled chicken (RM 29.70), Indonesian sweet sauce wings (RM 14.30) & Malaysian spice sambal wings (RM 14.30). It was a bit too much for three, we even had to pack them to-go. Definitely would be back, and have been back for a few times, in fact 😅

This popular shop in Mont Kiara has won the community’s heart for serving consistently good Korean fried chicken over the years. Bring the gang and feast on their Fried Chicken (from RM38) — choose between their Soy & Garlic, Spicy & Garlic and Sweet & Garlic marinades. The latter is quite exceptional for its perfect balance of sweet and savoury.

Definitely one of the best KFC’s I’ve had in town. Super juicy and the marinade is so so good! Right balance of sweetness allowing the garlic flavour to still come through.

Though pretty, it wasn’t a hit at our table. White rum, lemon, butterfly pea syrup and bitter orange. Buy 1, Free 1 cocktails on Ladies Night every Wednesday to Saturday.

Dark rum, red chilli, mango purée, asam, lime juice and yoghurt liquid. Wasn’t a fan of this.

A type of Indonesian cracker made with melinjo nuts. It has a slight bitter taste but went so well with the sambal.

4 variety of satay with dipping sauce for each of them. My favourite would be the chicken satay with the spicy sauce.
