Riser & Egg Meal ($6.70) come with original recipe brioche, riser & egg, hash brown and hot tea. I felt that brioche was quite soft and chewy. The original recipe (chicken) was quite nice and delicious.
As always, I overestimated KFC. This is Zinger's patty wrapped inside a tortilla. It's fine but it's not better than a regular Zinger.
Big portion, affordable but definitely not the best pasta I’ve ever had. Still a good place to go to for your pasta fix
Soup Spoon is having $5.90 national day special!
Was browsing the menu at Soup Spoon when I chanced upon this $5.90 deal! Took the chance to order the SG Chicken & Mushroom Ragout! It is the same regular size bowl, except that it does not come with the bread roll! (Regular size with bread roll costs $9.30).
Hurry to enjoy this National Day Specials before the offer ends!
@thesoupspoonsg has a new promotion item on the menu now - daily saver $7.9 set!
For the price of $7.90, you get a small soup (choose from 3 diff soup choices - roasted pumpkin / tangy tomato with basil / meatless minestrone), a side (ham and cheese sandwich or salad) and a drink (3 choices)!
Very value for money! And great if you want more variety for a meal! (Otherwise an ala carte normal soup portion will cost at least $9+.)
Served in a cold stone pot, the matcha ice cream with red bean paste sit on a bed of cornflakes. Surprisingly the dessert is a treat as it's not sweet as well~
i thought they would give more sauce if you upsize the pasta (so that it’s proportionate) but it seems like they don’t because there was rly not enough sauce here :( there was also barely any crab meat and the sauce wasn’t creamy or flavourful so all i could taste was bland pasta and chilli flakes
used a $25 voucher for this so thankfully it ended up being free but even so i was q disappointed w this meal ://
Back at Tipo again! This time to try their prawn in pink ($17.90++)! Picked the linguine pasta for the meal! The linguine is made of chilli garlic, which is the perfect combi for this pink sauce! The pink sauce is a mixture of pomodoro and alfredo sauces! Best of both world’

BBQ Seoul Shokudo is a Korean Style BBQ dining place that sells a variety of Beef and Chicken!
Got the Chicken Breast Set, which was one of the cheaper item on their extensive menu! $8.90++ for a set, which includes free flow sides like kimchi and corn and radish!
Other than grilling, they also have other non-BBQ items like stews, ramen and rice dishes that is able to satisfy your Korean food cravings!
BBQ Seoul Shokudo is a newly opened casual western eatery with Japanese and Korean influence.
Doria is a Japanese style of rice gratin wherein rice is topped with a creamy white sauce, cheese and a choice of protein.
We liked BBQ Seoul Shokudo's version. The cheese and white sauce was rich and savoury and paired really well with the sweet and tangy bulgogi beef. My only complaint though was that the portions are really small and left me rather hungry...
Another one of my must claim birthday freebies is SOUP SPOON!
It used to be a free $5 voucher with no minimum spending, but now there is a required minimum spending of $15 in order to redeem the voucher.
The free $5 birthday voucher can be used for dining in or takeaway. To order, you will need to either order from the mobile app and apply the birthday voucher, or use the kiosk and scan your mobile app e-card.
If you do not wish to order a heavy filling set, best to get a dining buddy along to order 2 ala carte soups!
My favourite soup is the VELVETY MUSHROOM STROGANOFF ($9.10)! Always order this soup 75% of the times! (The other times I will opt for the boston clam chowder soup for the SG Chicken & Mushroom Ragout.)
This time round, decided to be adventurous, and got the new souperchef special Chicken Cacciatore with Portobello and Sage ($9.50)! The only difference between this and SG Chicken and Mushroom Ragout is that the latter has some pasta in it.
But still, all time favourite mushroom soup triumphs!
