($9.90) it's took me years and years to try it out their western food but I just went there a couple of times for walking track. It comes with different two sides (can choose such as broccoli and cheese fries (top-up $1)) I felt that they are not that stingy for serving size tbh. Their cornflake chicken batter was quite crispy and crunchy tbh but then the chicken itself was quite moist and not that dry.

Tried the two most recommended 👍🏻 dishes from this beloved stall at Beauty World Food Centre — the soya sauce chicken and the comforting dumpling + wanton soup.
The chicken drumstick is meaty and tender with silky, well-marinated skin. And those dumplings and wantons are loaded with juicy prawns and seasoned minced meat — every bite is so hearty and satisfying. 😋

This set is for Delivery only from their online website. It’s very substantial and balanced diet.

A solid spot for wanton noodles.

The star here is the dish itself: springy noodles coated in a rich, savory sauce elevated by a subtly spicy chili that adds depth without overpowering.

The wantons are tender and well-executed, avoiding any rubbery texture.

While the char siew is nothing really special.

Stumbled upon a smokin’ hawker gem at Beauty World today. Tried the charcoal-grilled smoked duck breast — it was absolutely delicious! Tender, juicy with that perfect smoky flavour that hits all the right notes. 😋

Second time at Buta Kin!

This time trying their japanese curry rice too!
-Pork Tonkatsu Curry Rice ($6.80)
-Special Black Garlic Ramen ($9)

The food was all prepared hot! A freshly fried pork tonkotsu provides for a hearty and satisfying meal! Though I would have preferred if they could give more pieces of potatoes/carrots for the curry!

Visit this place if you are looking for affordable Japanese Cuisines!

I recently visited SL II for the first time and was excited to try their baked goods. I opted for the Walnut and Chocolate Chip Muffins and their Coconut Tarts.

The Coconut Tart was an absolute standout for me. The filling was incredibly fluffy, soft, and had a delightful fragrant flavor that really impressed me. It’s rare to find a coconut tart that balances texture and taste so well, and this one definitely hit the mark.

As for the Walnut and Chocolate Chip Muffins, they were equally enjoyable—soft, moist, and aromatic. It’s clear that SL II knows how to bake muffins right.

Char.B Charcoal BBQ offers a delightful dining experience with their well-grilled dishes at affordable prices.

The grilled chicken was a standout—tender, juicy, and perfectly charred, served with a side of crispy fries.

Another highlight was the sambal stingray, which was packed with spicy, flavorful goodness. However, the portion of sambal sauce felt a bit too limited, leaving me wishing for just a bit more to complement the dish.

Overall, it’s a great spot for satisfying and wallet-friendly grilled meals.
