Top end French eatery at $50 - $100 per person level (less wine by glass and desserts). Comparable to highest end Restaurant in Shanghai and Beijing (where I live and work) food wise. Back to visit a close friend living nearby in rainy November. Le Petit Paris is a very unique and hidden gem in a quiet neighborhood. Ordered Chef’s Special (Appertizer) Fresh Burrata With Cherry Tomato Salad ($34) - Fresh Burrata (300g) with cherry tomato salad to share. They have a smaller portion. Served on a bed of freshly cherry tomato, french shallots and basil oil. The freshest of ingredients drizzled with a refreshing dressing that lingers in your palate. I ordered Salmon and wild mushrooms ($36 ) in a mushroom sauce (in photo). The Salmon was cooked to perfection (outer skin crust, tender soft meat with a tinge of fresh (sweet rawness) salmon in the centre. 9.5 out of 10 (could also taste a little of the Chef’s melancholy in the sauce). Value for money and will return for more before I head back to wintry Beijing.

Tried the seashore (blue pea earl grey) and taromisu. Both taste quite good and are an interesting local rendition to classic desserts.
But price wise, without burpple it wouldn’t be worth. the size of the pastries are on smaller side.
But worth trying with burpple. 🍰

A damn fine burger boasting a meaty grilled pureblood Wagyu patty, bacon, smoked tomato sauce, grilled onion, lettuce, cheddar and honey mustard mayo. Served with a side of salad and crisp fries.

The jalapenos and salsa make this dish, adding a zesty fieriness that lifts the flavours of the plainer elements on the plate.

The charred prawns are plump and sweet and pair extremely well with the house-made bright and spicy green sriracha. I know it sounds lazy, but it'd be even better if they came de-shelled.

Crispy calamari ranks right up there when it comes to bar food. These babies are coated in a paper thin, crunchy batter and pop in your mouth with bags of flavour. An absolute must order whenever I'm at @littleislandbrew.

Seriously some of the best ribs in town - sticky, moreish and fall-off-the-bone, the teriyaki stout glazed ribs are sweet and smoky without being cloying. The portions are very generous and one plate can easily be shared between 2 with other dishes.

($28) I decided to use burpple 1 for 1 voucher for trying their pasta (mains). I finally trying their best selling pasta after a long time. But I felt that their pasta was a bit thick as hard to chew thru. Duck confit was quite tender and not that hard. But fried hazelnut reminded me of Ferrero Rocher enhance the pasta's taste.

($15) The oyster was freshly made fried on the spot when the customer order. I felt that the oyster got too much for batters, still juicy, crunchy and crispy texture for first try.

($27) My sister felt that it was quite overwhelming for tomato sauce tbh. But then breaded chicken cutlet got too much batter inside lol.

($14) I felt that it was quite nice and light taste tbh with asian vinaigrette salad sauce topped with quinoa. The serving was enough for 2 pax to share together. Summer vegetables such as cauliflowers, tomatoes, carrots, etc mixed with vinaigrette salad and quinoa.
