A feast like this at a steal? Don’t miss out!

($11.90) I choose baked chicken and garden veggie for two set. Lemon and Lime sauce was quite heavy texture tbh but strong sour texture. But the chicken I think they use frozen one (bc of cny season as they stocked up) as the meat was pink in colour, already cooked and also texture was quite much tough.

Most bars don't serve up quality food, but it's not the case here at @ichi.1sg because we all thoroughly enjoyed most of their dishes.

Their Hamachi Kama ($28) was just spot on. The skin was grilled till crispy, while the meat within was fresh, sweet and succulent! It was meaty pieces and the sweet salty marinade gave it so much flavour. Wished I had the whole plate to myself 😂

Their Scallop Mentaiko Pasta was so rich and full of Mentaiko as well; mentaiko lovers would rejoice! But this can be surfeiting so it's good to share!

Their Salted Egg Oyster Mushrooms are also a nice sharing dish. The oyster mushrooms were crispy and the salted egg sauce was glorious. Wished I had rice to mop them up 😂

Finally of course, you have to have pizza to share in a bar. Their Smoked Salmon Pizza came quite filled with smoked salmon pieces and cheese, and their crust can be quite crispy! I like it but for people who prefer a doughier crust may not so!

For drinks, @chorongchorong.official would be your go-to. They have a couple of flavours here, but personally, I like the Bohae raspberry wine instead as it's a sweet easy drink to begin with 😂 quite rare to find this wine in Singapore bars!

One thing to note, is that they have live performances from Thurs to Sat. You can enjoy your good food with some good songs 😍 There are daily alcohol promotions as well, like 2 beer towers for $108 on Monday, and 3 beer towers for $208 on Thursday. Prices of food can be abit steep here, but they do serve up good quality. In the heart of Clarke Quay, this is one bar for you to consider! You can reserve on chope and quote "ICHIPLATTER" to get a free plate of sashimi!

We ordered the cheese pizza and the truffle mushroom pizza. Both were outstanding. Very crisp and fluffy crust. The truffle mushroom pizza had a great truffle flavour and generous amount of mushrooms. Cheese pizza was delicious. Fresh cheese felt rich and indulgent.

Now this is what I call restaurant quality food in a hawker setting. This is my 2nd time at Eddy's and it is still as good 😍😍😍

The Duck Confit with Aglio Olio ($14) was absolutely splendid. The duck confit itself was quite sizable, and it was perfectly grilled to have an amazing crispy skin, while keeping the meat within moist. It was incredibly tender, as you can pull apart the meat with a plastic spoon! It was well flavoured as well with their secret blend of spices. Aglio Olio was great as well, as it was al dente and very garlicky 😍

Even their Grilled Salmon with Mashed Potato ($12) was very good. The salmon skin was grilled till very crispy and the meat was pretty moist! Loved that the salmon was quite fatty. The mashed potato below was rich and creamy, exactly how it should be.

This is one hawker stall I will crave and I will definitely be back! I believe the duck confit here is worth travelling for, as I dare say that it's better than many restaurants I've been to.

(by using KAIKAI - $16) my friend wanted to try their curry chicken w focaccia initally but then I wanted to try other dish. But I saw KAIKAI deal and switched with this instead. But I felt that their curry chicken got quite thick texture and also mild spicy taste for me. Focaccia (bread) was quite crispy and also crunchy with dipping with curry inside.

It is very interesting to see them selling some local dishes like Mee Siam at this place.

But this curry chicken with focaccia attracted me eventually. The curry was surprisingly so rich and tasty that I finished the whole bowl with the focaccia bread. The curry also comes with few pieces of chicken and potatoes.

The rosemary and garlic focaccia really give its fragrant taste when you dipped it with the curry.

The Shelter is a store selling clothing and merchandise, but most people come here to enjoy their foods and drinks also.

You know the weather has been very hectic these few days, so this air-conditioned shop is the perfect place to hide from this hot weather outside.

That’s the reason I choose to go for something refreshing with their grapefruit oolong. A cold brew oolong over house-made grapefruit purée.

However I didn’t taste much of the oolong taste in the drink. But more with the grapefruit purée.

Stumbled upon this cafe at Fook Hai building as I was around Hong Lim market, and it had a decent crowd for an off peak afternoon. Smelled the aroma of the curry and got hungry, and while it isn’t the most wallet friendly, it was one of the more delicious chicken curries I’ve had. The sauce had its balance all right - the consistency, the spice, the coconut milkiness. Chicken was wildly tender, and the best part was the rosemary and garlic focaccia chunks that blended perfectly with the rich curry sauce. They serve other local cuisines as well like Mee Siam and Mee rebus, which all look delicious from their menu. But this is one place I’d bring a friend, both for their excellent coffee and food offerings.

For dessert, I was eyeing their creamy Biscoff gelato ($5.50/ scoop) though the others (will get the Hojicha next time) on display tasted great as well. Milky but not overly so, the kind of buttery, caramelised flavour really came through. Studded with bits of cookie crumbs, it was also not too sweet and was wonderfully smooth. Loving their selection of house-made gelato, I found their Charcoal Matcha Waffle ($3.50) to be even more enjoyable as the texture was a nice in-between of dense and airy. The areas with the matcha batter were slightly softer while the charcoal batter seemed to yield a crisper crunch. And I was most impressed by the fact that the mixed batter had a pleasant sweet aroma with the green edges offering a pronounced roasted tea flavour.
