Tried their signature rigatoni and mushroom risotto.
Portions are small and the taste isn’t great.
Food was tad salty too.
For the price, would say it’s pretty pricey too.
But service was good.

今天就一起随着花姐打卡新加坡自助餐天花板之Colony

Colony餐厅位于新加坡丽思卡尔顿美年酒店，以其豪华的自助餐体验而闻名，可以说是新加坡最受欢迎的自助餐之一。

我们娘俩都特别喜欢自助餐，于是早早预定在花姐生日这天来餐厅庆生。

但因为它的高性价比，所以也是自助餐厅中最难预定的餐厅之一。

Colony的装潢结合了现代与殖民地风格，墙上装饰着复古地图和明信片，营造出怀旧的氛围。

进门先冲甜品台，Colony的自助餐提供超丰盛的甜品，上次吃午餐的时候就领教过了，担心甜品台被“破坏”，一进门就先冲甜品是我的优良习惯

提供多种国际美食，包括中式、日式、印度式、印尼式、马来西亚式、西式和本地特色菜肴。

餐厅设有八个开放式厨房，提供现场烹饪表演，能够亲眼见证食物的制作过程。

这款牛腩真是特别软烂入味

Colony引以为傲的冰吧，提供新鲜的海鲜，如巨型虾、雪蟹腿、现开生蚝、贻贝等。刺身和寿司也是这里的亮点，切片厚实，口感极佳

终于开始我们最爱的甜品，今天的目标是每个都尝一遍

居然还提供无麸质面包，对于我这种面粉过敏的人来说真是惊喜

一共吃了三盘甜品

最后看一眼蒸笼，提供各式中式点心，如蒸饺、烧卖、虾饺和包子等，味道正不正宗不知道，我们已经无福消受了

Colony的服务质量真的是没得说，当天为我们服务的Fiona，非常细心和礼貌，确保我们有一个愉快的用餐体验，真是非常感谢她。

Broth is thick and taste delicious

($30) consisted of aged brandy cream (sauce) cooked inside, pancetta (salt-cured pork belly meat), mushroom, egg yolk and topped with parmigiano reggiano (cheese). I felt that it's such an atas and great experience for myself and my friend to dine in for restaurant specially for pasta. I did redeemed with burpple 1 for 1 pasta menu. The pasta was not that hard or soft texture (al dente). I did broke egg yolk off and mixed well with the rest of ingredients. After mixing well together, my first few tries were got that strong wine taste initially but slowly got salty aftertaste bc probably of pancetta. I felt a bit jelak towards the end of the meal.

Wasn't a big fan of this dish, felt a bit dry and the chorizo wasn't to my preference.

This risotto was also done well, it had a citrusy herby taste that was quite unique. The grilled prawns were good here too, juicy with a nice bite and flavour.

Peach, Floral Blossoms, Honey

This white sparkling wine made from Moscato was delish! It was light and with floral with tiny bubbles, perfumed with the scent of honey. Their curated wine collection is exclusively distributed by them, you can only enjoy wines like these over here. They currently have promos going on, so it's defo a good deal!

I learnt recently that a well-cooked risotto should spread out to be flat, and this was. This was one of our fav dishes here. The creamy risotto had truffle paste, porcini, pecorino romano, it was mushroomy yet not surfeiting or salty. Rice was cooked well, not too hard or soft, and I thought the crispy mushroom topping was a nice touch

Spaghetti was al dente, and the grilled black tiger prawns in garlic was pretty good - it had a nice char and wasn't overcooked. It came piping hot so it was extra tasty!
