Very good flavour, abit more mediocre on the texture, it doesn't have as much bite as it needs to.
Frankly speaking, just spam the pork belly here there's no other meat that's more worth it or taste better
Each grill min order 2 meats, about 450g or 3 orders feeds 2 guys well
Good texture, and very good flavour. My eyes widened when I put this into my mouth. This is why they're the best in the business in SG
They're dammed expensive so better do your research before coming here
The jowl is ok, somewhat crunchy but really not crunchy enough, not good enough for this price
I love PUJIM. I think I complained before about their sides previously, and said everything else was good.
Now the sides were all good. Esp their egg, is one of the best Korean style eggs in Singapore
($7.50) its another best selling main dish and I felt that it's quite spicy aftertaste. But its best to eat during cold weather.
Went for the 50% off Ribbonfish stew on Thursdays which is insane value for money!! The entire pot of fish, mussels, abalone, scallops, prawns, and even octopus costs only $44?? Crazy crazy good!! We also had the Seafood Pancake ($16) which is delicious as usual, and the Pork Suyuk Sotbap ($14) which was nice but think can skip. Banchan and ice cream for each guests is also very much appreciated! Definitely one of my go-to joints for delicious and affordable korean food. Will be back!
($12) I did tried their chicken ver before at taste orchard last year but then pork cutlet is new dish for menu. It's quite nt bad tbh given at coffee shop.
The ambience is a bit gloomy. Service is good, but the food is mediocre. We had kalbi, pork collar, kimchi beef stew, and seafood pancake. ALL are inferior to the Korean joints in Tanjong Pagar? Only convenient if you live in the Orchard Rd area and are too lazy to go far.
I don't get the hype. Damn ordinary. Meat was rubbery.
Really long wait for this popular restaurant (and questionable seating arrangements) but the food more than made up for it. First of all, GET THE SEAFOOD PANCAKE IT'S SO GOOD, thick and delicious and chockful of seafood bits, probably will return just to have this again it's THAT good. Also got the BBQ Set A which had generous portions of meat good for 3 pax, but we're terrible at grilling so I think next time we'll just get the pre-grilled platter instead! Japchye was alright and abalone porridge was pretty interesting, and we appreciated the free flow barley tea, banchan, lettuce, and garlic/green chilli for the grill. Overall, if I was in the area and the queue is manageable, would return.
Freshly fried and crispy batter!! The sound is definitely made in house with the Dalcom spicy chicken, could taste the red pepper powder incorporated!
$30 for 2 half 300g chicken + one grape mocktail
