The Only Burger is a Halal Western food stall located within *Happy Hawkers* at Tampines Avenue 9.

The fries and chicken tenders were fried to perfection, with no sogginess in sight. The chicken tenders, in particular, were consistently crunchy and satisfying.

But the real star of the show was the burgers. The beef patties were incredibly flavorful, perfectly marinated, and grilled to juicy perfection.

Every bite was an explosion of deliciousness.

I’ll definitely be returning for more!

($10) I felt that the sauce for tater tots was quite strong taste in term of smokiness and sourness. We didn't managed to eat finish as we just overordered too much a bit.

($15) consisted of signature fatty beef (didn't tried), honey mustard crispy chicken (I felt that it's quite spicy flavour for me and also crispy chicken was slightly hard to cut) and bourbon bbq pulled pork (exclusive) (I felt that it's was quite smoky and creamy at same time at least pulled pork was soft and easier to cut through).

The must-have item on Botak Jones menu has to be the double baked cheese potato. Creamy mashed potato mixed with cheese and topped with even more cheese. This is just sinfully delicious 》$5

I rarelygrab my meal at the airport before or after my travel at Changi, and this time because my flight arrived at Terminal 3 and I already hungry when touched down at 7pm. Hence, decided to try on this place that I have wanted to try for long time.

This is a typical airport restaurant and this restaurant is by Wolfgang Puck food & retail chain, serving Western and Asian foods and drinks.

Very comfortable and not too crowded as others, which I believe mainly due to its higher price tag comparing to the rest.

Gotten myself the WP Burger which stuffed with beef patty, tomato, lettuce, cheddar, gherkins, onions and garlic aioli. I went for medium rare for the beef patty. Would say it taste juicy and tender, pretty enjoyable and satisfying for an airport meal. Accompanied with crispy fries at the side.

McChicken
S$1 with Voucher redeemed with 20 points in Fraser app.

One of the better dishes I had that day, no complaints. Meat was tender and crust was crispy and flavourful. Fries had an added seasoning and flavour to them.

7/10 - Serving was large and filling but lacking in taste and tenderness was not up to par. Ordered a medium and expected better, would not pay for this dish if not for the Burpple voucher. Would rather go to a steakhouse for a similar price.

Was only brought to the attention about the Affogato at McCafe after coming across a post by @raineraineeataway some time back on her chance encounter on the item — while it was first announced some time back when McDonalds had first opened their outlet at Marina Cove in East Coast Park that the location will be offering outlet-exclusive items, the impression of this news has pretty much faded over the passing of time. Turns out, McDonald’s is still carrying the said outlet-exclusive items in the McCafe menu at their outlet at Marine Cove almost nearly a decade after its opening (this outlet opened their doors in 2016); one being the Affogato, and the other being the Belgian Waffle with Mixed Berries.

It is pretty easy to be quite dismissive about the Affogato here for a simple reason — this is essentially an assembly of McCafe’s Espresso with McDonald’s Vanilla Soft-Serve; something they can be said as rather predictable and to a certain degree not quite as authentic as what one would expect to get if dining at a true-blue Italian establishment. That being said, there are some differences if one decides to do a self-assembly of this item by ordering the individual elements and putting it altogether at other McDonald’s locations housing a McCafé. For one, the shot of espresso is being steeped into the paper cup before the Vanilla soft-serve is swirled into it; this also means that the Vanilla soft-serve is unlikely to have become too melted down when it is being served. The proportion of vanilla soft serve and coffee hits the sweet spot, striking a good balance of the bitter undertones of the coffee as well as the creaminess and sweetness of their standard vanilla soft-serve. While travelling into Marine Cove at East Coast Park just for the Affogato does sound a little crazy even for those whom are especially interested in the item, the price of $4.45 for the Affogato does make it rather accessible considering the price of Affogato in a typical cafe or in restaurants that serves it; definitely scratches the cravings for us for sure though!
