“Ugly Delicious” - ugly photo, of which I take full blame of but delicious sticky cinnamon bun.
In fact this is (IMHO) the best cinnamon bun in Singapore because it’s simple (no cream cheese fan fare needed) yet so gratifying 🥹
Fresh soft white bun with just enough sticky cinnamon syrup ✨
Lovely place that my family and I love to spend our weekend mornings after our stroll in Botanic Gardens. Thankful for polite and friendly staff there. Kudos to Janice and her team!
It’s a simple n tasty Don bowl! Salmon is fresh.
Juicy and crisp beef and bacon burger!
Banana Butterscotch Pancake😍 Read my previous post for the full review!😇
Went to Atlas Coffeehouse a few weeks ago and ordered a Summer Chicken Stew ($19.30), Wurst Rosti with a change to scrambled eggs ($28), Iced Matcha Latte ($7.50), Iced Latte ($6.40), and a Butterscotch Banana Pancake shown in the next post ($18.50)!😇
Overall ratings is a 9/10!!🥰 Really enjoyed the food and drinks here, where the chicken stew has an interesting citrus twist to it, and the matcha latte was sweet enough to my liking🤣 Service was pretty good too! Only downsides are that the sausage from the rosti is too salty and the prices are a little steep!😅
You don't necessarily need to order gentleman's relish to get your honey mascarpone and scrambled egg, you can easily add on these things
It's alright but not particularly stunning, I don't think it's worth trying here. Honestly all of the good cafe scrambled eggs taste the same, prove me wrong(never tried Ronin but they closed alr lol)
Overall this place is damn consistent and it's all the more impressive, not only because of how long, but because of how popular they got
Idk why they call it curd when it's closer to a cream, but everything was ok. nothing too special, in fact if I'm being honest, Mac's is somewhat ok as well so technically the hotcakes don't taste too different from Mac's. Maple syrup is abit bitter, not my thing.
Avoid this
PS well clearly I'm not basic enough to order this, I wanted the butterscotch banana pancakes lol
The honey mascarpone is highly raved, I think it's alright, the reason why ppl think it's so good is because there's an underlying mint flavour which makes it fresh
And ofc, more of their excellent sourdough to scoop up the mascarpone
Only for lunch, after 11am
Still as good. The soup is very moreish, with strong thyme aroma. Ckn was tender, and carrot was extremely well roasted. The sourdough was brilliant as well, not sour but the crunchy texture was on point
As good as before is the highest praise I can give here, since they blew my mind 8 years ago. The consistency is unbelievable
Atlas really holds a special place in my heart. This is the very first cafe I've visited in my entire life, before I wrote my first review. Now I'm back in a very different position, here to check if their standards have slipped.
Unfortunately the matcha latte is damn lousy, it's really mainly milk, and too sweet. Cant taste much matcha. Very pedestrian, not your artisanal ones
Portion is pretty big, feeds 2 if that's all youre having.
The figs are well roasted, but that's really all. Theres cubes of cream cheese but they taste like white cheese more, and the two flavours dont go tgt, and the overall taste is very mild, nowhere near sweet enough. Bread has way too much bite as always
I struggle to understand why these cafe-hopping girls love this
