Loved the rich, flavourful soup and generous portions. Prawns were fresh!!

Really enjoyed the food here. Rich soup, big portions, and shelled prawns made the meal extra satisfying.

This Paofan was simply the most amazing thing I have ever tasted in awhile. The broth was so Umami and the freshness of seafood can be tasted in the broth as well. Very generous portion of seafood as well!

The Hokkien Mee was bursting with rich umami flavour, and the hot clay pot enhanced its aroma beautifully. The prawns were fresh, and the sides were perfectly fried and served piping hot — a truly satisfying meal.

The broth was incredibly rich and naturally sweet from the prawns. Every mouthful of soup was just so addicting! I ordered the thick bee hoon with prawn and ribs soup. The bee hoon was cooked to the right level of chewiness, and the ribs were fall off the bone tender. The prawns seemed fresh, with a sweet flavor and a meaty bite.

Their secret chili powder, available on the table, really enhanced the flavor as well. It wasn’t very spicy, but it added an extra layer of umami, possibly from some kind of prawn powder. I really enjoyed mixing it into both the soup and the noodles.

I also highly recommend their lychee oolong. It had a fragrance on its own and helped cleanse the palate, especially when every mouthful was so rich.

The Ginseng Black Chicken Soup had a deep, rich herbal flavour that was comforting and well-balanced. It was not too bitter, with the right hint of sweetness from the ginseng. The yam rice was fragrant and slightly sticky, pairing perfectly with the soup.

The Signature Jade Tofu was smooth and creamy on the inside, with a crisp seaweed layer that gave it a nice contrast in texture. The stir-fried vegetables in herbal sauce were fresh and crunchy, coated in a light, aromatic gravy that did not overpower their natural sweetness.

The ginseng chrysanthemum tea was light and cooling, offering a pleasant floral aftertaste that rounded off the meal nicely.

Tried Zhup Zhup Prawn Noodle and was really impressed! The broth was rich, full of flavour, and had that deep umami taste that you only get when it’s been simmered properly. They were also really generous with the ingredients - big, fresh prawns, tender pork slices, and a good amount of noodles. Everything came together perfectly. You can tell a lot of care goes into each bowl. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to whenever I’m craving a solid bowl of prawn noodles.

Had the prawn and ribs dry noodles for dinner and it was absolutely delicious! The broth was rich, umami, and bursting with pork bone flavour, while the noodles had that perfect springy bite. The prawn fritters, meat roll, sotong youtiao, and five-spiced meat roll were all packed with flavour — every bite reminded me why this place truly deserves its Michelin Bib Gourmand title!

Mother & daughter craving for prawn noodles were finally satisfied at Zhup Zhup .

Their signature Supreme spicy dried prawn noddles accompanied with their tasty fragrant fresh prawns soup left us speechless & wanting more .

went to try the highly raved Zhup Zhup and all I can say is that it did not disappoint.

we ordered the Supreme Prawn Noodles, Seafood Paofan and the Ngoh Hiang Tasting platter to share. my favorite was the paofan — the rice soaked up the soup perfectly, and they were really generous with the ingredients.

bonus points for the one-time free soup refill! if you’re a big fan of prawn noodles head down to Zhup Zhup for a hearty bowl of prawn noodles!

The Cordyceps Flower Kampung chicken soup is pure gold, with a rich broth and tender chicken. The signature jade tofu was super crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside, with a exquisite flavour.

The Collagen Fish Maw Soup was the highlight of the dinner. The rich texture of the fish maw pairs well with the flavorful abalone broth. With two big abalones, plus the added benefits of cordyceps and red dates, it’s not only tasty but also nourishing.

The Cucumber in Vinaigrette is also a fantastic starter! It has a nice balance of spicy and savory flavors, and the crisp cucumbers make it really refreshing. It reminds me of that viral cucumber salad and is perfect as a light dish to share.
