Loved this scoop! The pear gave a musky, fruity sweetness, while the cinnamon, cloves and star anise added a warm, woody depth that made it feel both refreshing and comforting. The flavour was layered but still light. Had it in their thyme cone, which added a savoury crunch and a fresh herbal lift γ$6.80
Not a huge selection of greens on the menu but this one does the job nicely. The choy sum was fresh and vibrant, stir-fried with garlic and bits of pork lard for extra flavour. Portion was generous too, which made it a satisfying side to balance out the richer dishes γ$10.80
The chicken was tender and juicy, baked in sea salt for 50 minutes so the flavour stayed clean yet deeply savoury. Loved that gentle hint of saltiness that lifted the natural sweetness of the meat without overpowering it.

Tender pork belly layered over savory preserved veg, all braised till rich and glossy. The flavours were deep, slightly sweet and super moreish. The perfect dish to go with rice.
Meat was soft, sauce was punchy and the whole dish was gone in no time. Total comfort dish that quietly steals the show γ$23.80
Golden pan-fried tofu stuffed with a mix of minced fish and pork, soft inside with a crisp edge. The light soy-based sauce with soybeans gave it a clean, earthy flavour that soaked beautifully with the tofu. Silky tofu, savoury filling and chewy beans made it simple but homely γ$12.80
The broth had that peppery aroma that reminded me of a gentler bak kut teh. It was light and clean but still full of flavour.
