The seafood is very fresh and the broth quite yummy. Service is proactive, friendly and extremely professional. That makes for a satisfying hotpot experience. All of this comes at a price (about $110 per pax); that’s why it’s a 4-star and not 5-star. If it were located in Dempsey or the Orchard Rd area, it would be even more expensive !

Highly recommended by my wife’s easties colleagues

Ba Shu was completely full on a weekday night at 8 PM, which is a testament to its popularity.

The standout dish for me was the *La Zi Ji* (spicy fried chicken). Unlike other places that tend to overcook it, leaving the chicken dry and tough, Ba Shu nailed it perfectly.

Each piece was fried to golden perfection—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and almost reminiscent of bite-sized karaage. Absolutely delicious.

SHAO brings a refreshing take on Teochew classics, and their Signature BBQ Roe Crab is a must-try. Freshly delivered crabs are steamed and grilled to perfection, locking in natural flavors and ensuring every bite is packed with rich crab roe.

Designed for sharing, the communal-style dishes make it perfect for group dining. Highlights include the Pan-Fried Shrimp Pancake, a kid-friendly favorite, and the comforting Teochew Beef Ball Soup with its distinct garlicky aroma. Pair a bowl of rice with flavorful dishes like the Grilled Pork Jowl and Stir-Fried Qinglong Cai for a satisfying meal.

This resto is so understated .. but the food this kitchen churns out is so yummy for the price point no wonder it’s always crowded . The roast chicken, soon hock fish, fried rice with silver fish , cereal prawns , Brocoli w monkey head , orh nee were all tasty and delicious . Perfect place for family gathering where u don’t wanna dress up n eat heartily without a hole in your pocket . Has air con in door dining too .

Just a short hop from its original spot, Big Fish Small Fish has reopened at Century Square with a fresh new look! This casual dining spot offers a variety of tasty dishes, and I usually go for their battered dory sandwich, served on a brioche bun with sides of crisps and salad. This time, I added a sunny-side-up egg for that extra indulgence. The wifey opted for the signature battered dory with shiitake mushroom aglio olio. Both were as satisfying as ever!

Aburi En's tonkotsu chashu ramen offers a rich, flavorful broth with tender pork slices.
The noodles are perfectly cooked, and the overall experience is satisfying.
A must-try for ramen enthusiasts visiting the mall's basement spot.
