So I had to go redeem my Burpple 1-for-1 deals and check out the space! The crowds were insane on a Saturday night, it was difficult to navigate the queue and even more difficult to find a seat but we eventually did and I’m Glad we did because these waffles are SO GOOD. I’m personally a little biased towards Udders but Creamier waffles are a close second in the scene for me with fragrant crispy waffles with a soft and buttery interior. The ice cream was not bad too but not all complemented the waffles as well as i would have liked. The charcoal black sesame is awesome! #burpple #burpplesg #burpplebeyond

I set my heart on this after reading the reviews on Burpple. Wah this was even better than I thot. The Lavender was wonderfully floral and the earl grey was spot on. A sublime combi that made me swoon. Ice cream started melting fast even thou I was sitting in air con. ❤️❤️ the roasted almond thins. So good that I asked the server if I could buy some. His answer, “No we don’t sell them anymore sorry” broke my heart.

30 mins wait on Sunday at abt 2.30pm. Get queue number from machine outside entrance. Too hot to sit outside, but very very noisy inside. Come with noise cancelling earphones.

Slightly disappointed to see watermelon slices instead of roasted almond thins. The waffle was nice but of cos the star was the ice cream. Really good strawberry flavor. The balsamic was a nice touch. Used Burpple Beyond.

While one can argue Wild Honey has lost its shine with so many contenders in the market, I have fond memories of the eggs ben here, being where I first fell in love with poached eggs haha. Still a classic with the perfect hollandaise sauce and obligatory perfectly poached eggs.

That amazing sauce also seeped into the rice, making every bite flavourful. They were also very generous with the rib eye. The runny Onsen egg combined all the ingredients together, making it creamy and gooey. Service was quick and loved that they gave me ice water without me having to ask 💕 #food #foodphotography #foodie #burpple #sgfoodies #singapore #foodporn #sgfood #foodsg #sg #sgfoodie #noms #nom #eats #sgeats #burpplesg #japanese #japan #gyu #gyudon #beef #noms #foodblogger #foodstagram #foodlover #foodgasm

Along the shop houses of famous Tiong Bahru Bakery, you will find chapter 55 in the hood. Food was nothing to boast about, average for both the ravioli and pork chop -could be better. Staff was friendly and ambience setting was very amicable. Perhaps other food options are better?

Good for brunch food and coffee on a late Sunday morning. Not overly crowded unlike its neighbours.

Stranger’s Reunion’s refreshed menu takes a surprising direction toward semi fine dining, with refined plating, thoughtful use of ingredients and wholesome flavours. Their snapper ceviche is punchy and vibrant, bursting with zesty notes of lime, creamy avocado, pungent red onion and herbaceous cilantro as well as shaved fennel.

So the queues were crazy on a weekday afternoon after news of its impending closure got out. Fortunately service was swift but no less polite. The new blue milk vanilla essentially tasted like vanilla ice cream and the cookies and cream a standard flavour well done. Don't expect to get a table to have waffles without a wait.

Conveniently located near Bishan MRT, this little hole-in-the-wall void deck cafe serves up some delicious ice cream that's light on the palate with subtle but distinct flavours. I got the salted caramel and cereal milk and they were awesome.

They've got more interesting flavours like Persian Prince (almond and saffron), Blondie Beach (white chocolate, lime and salt) most of which require a top up of $1 for premium flavours.

Waffles were light and crispy, but my personal take was that it could've been perfected if more flavourful.
