I've had a craving for this new item since its release. Very good because brisket is brisket. I had also forgotten how fragrant their flatbread is. No regrets.
I really loved and enjoyed the bakmi I had in Indonesia and was looking for an equivalent in Singapore that sold the dry, braised version. Kulon is a good substitute to quell that craving. If youโve had the Chinese zha jiang mian before, think of this as a less sweet, but way more savoury bowl of noodles. Noodle texture wasnโt as qq as expected in other reviews, but the sambal merah really elevated the experience.

their authenticity and PORTION SIZES really blew us away!!!
it was supposed to be food for two - the two of us ate until we were STUFFED and dabaoed, the rest was enough to feed 4โฆ.. so just imagine how big their portions are HAHAHAAH
our favourite was dipping into like 6?? different sauces and trying to choose whats our fav (torn!! cldnt choose!! each had their own unique taste and why its nice - some were refreshing, creamy, fragrant etc)
we also LOVED the desseert!!!! the addition of ice cream and the whole presentation of him drowning the dessert made it better HAHAHA
